Ha Ha your funny. Does that number make good sense to the predicted value on PH? I have been staying away from bitconnect because the payout has been lower than other coins on PH.

SpacedCowboy · · #20034

I’m not sure. BCC is currently 10th in the profitability list, but my miners are pretty much always focussed on that, with brief flashes to a different coin now and then. I just tell the pool to figure out what to mine. Trust the data :)

mmfiore · · #20035

Oh so. what are you actually getting paid in? Whats your payment coin?

SpacedCowboy · · #20036

LTC - I like LTC’s future :)

mmfiore · · #20037

yes I completely agree.

mycide · · #20038

tss that was long expected. average i should find 1 dgb block every 0.08/dayswas like 12 hours with no blocks..

mmfiore · · #20039

I am not sure I trust solo mining here. I am not sure that the PH system properly credits block finds in the solo mode,

mmfiore · · #20040

I am wondering if anyone has tried solo mining here and what there success rate is? It may work for low difficulty coins but not for the high difficulty. I am not sure.

mycide · · #20041

@mmfiore i dont think there is an issue with crediting blocks. just was unlucky for half the day of not finding any. yesterday i found like 8 blocks in an afternoon, so its down to RNG

MglMogul9 · · #20042

it says I found this. Scrypt Linxcoin 50 0 652,211,766 $7.2640 Immature 36 minutes ago 116240.

MglMogul9 · · #20043

how much of the 7.2640 actually goes into my balance?

bronxnua · · #20044

if you solo mine and find the 7.264 all goes to you..

SpacedCowboy · · #20045

Assuming pool mining, not solo mining... your share of the block value is determined by how many "shares" your machines are hashing at. AFAIK, there’s no bonus for finding the block itself, you just get the (your shares)/(total pool shares) fraction of the value. Of course, you get this for *every* block found, not just your own.

SpacedCowboy · · #20046

I’ve found 2 of the bitconnectcoin blocks today, total value about $2200. My account is nowhere near $2.2k :) It’s all good, everyone wins with PPS

bronxnua · · #20047

I am mining solo on x11 hitting some of the small coins

mmfiore · · #20048

yes I just wanted to hear that people were having luck with solo mining/ Some people here were complaining that their machines were finding solo blocks but PH did not credit.

bronxnua · · #20049

X11 Centurion 60 0 3,289 $4.1100 Orphaned

bronxnua · · #20050

that sucks

mmfiore · · #20051

I do like the pps method sure and steady and everyone benefits

bronxnua · · #20052

I started mining here yesterday with my Bailkal Giant 2000

bronxnua · · #20053

I am doing pps with solo also

mmfiore · · #20054

you find anything doing solo?

bronxnua · · #20055

16 seconds ago 0.32854079 Payout eligible: 0.07658949 Payout threshold: 1.00000000 (raised from 0.01613096) Network minimum: 0.00400000 All-time earned: 0.32854079

bronxnua · · #20056

so far .3285 LTC

bronxnua · · #20057

less then 24 hours

mmfiore · · #20058

what coin are you solo mining?

bronxnua · · #20059

all the x11 coins

mmfiore · · #20060

ah okay

bronxnua · · #20061

Cannabiscoin 70 0 4,538 $2.0005 last one I got

bronxnua · · #20062

X11 CoinonatX 100 0 6,000 $4.1168 was the best so far

mycide · · #20063

why are you mining solo with pps?

bronxnua · · #20064

I share with others and hit solo

mycide · · #20065

might aswell let PH decide what coin you hash to maximise profits.. atm your stuck on static coin profits.

mycide · · #20066

let the machine decide what coin to mine, and then go to payout and select what coin you want to be payed in, this way you still recieve prefered coin but you will gain more profits.

mycide · · #20067

if you use c=whatevercoin then also use m=solo this way u get payed for blocks found - all of it, + all the value of merge mining payed out in the coin you solo mine.

mycide · · #20068

but i wouldnt use solo mining if you dont have a reasonable shot at finidng a block, then leave password blank to maximise pps profits.

mycide · · #20069

or only n=workername

mycide · · #20070

only reason to use c=coin without m=solo if your machine/rig is not stabile on the switching, but usually it can be tweaked with settings d= and h=

mycide · · #20071

doesnt matter you share it with others, im guessing its the profit you share, right? :)

mycide · · #20072

so maximise that shit

mmfiore · · #20073

the problem is if you solomine and let ph pick coin it will pick coins to solomine that you have no shot at getting. not a good idea for scrypt mining

bronxnua · · #20074

x11 is what I am mining

mycide · · #20075

according to the help section you can not use m=solo if you dont have c=coin

mycide · · #20076

doesnt matter if you mine x11, sha-256 or scrypt. in a mulipool like this you earn a lot more letting pool decide what you mine, you just decide payout coin or coins.

mycide · · #20077

"a lot"

bronxnua · · #20078

LtC is my payout.. connected to coinbase to get cash

mycide · · #20079

well.. just try it, run one day with your settings, the other without and let pool decide. I think you would make more with the later.

mycide · · #20080

just check coins price/difficulty so that is not what is causing increase or decrease. but this is how many of us have done it learn by trying and testing.

S3KshuN8 · · #20081

anybody here know much about bitconnect coin that gets mined the majority of each day?

Jalapan · · #20082

look at the charts on the firstpage but 60-80%

mmfiore · · #20083

well I just tried soloming bottlecaps. the problem is when you solomine it pays you in the coin you solomine.

miles888 · · #20084

This pool averages around 70% BCC in mining share per day

miles888 · · #20085

I’ve had issues finding a BCC wallet that even works TBH; would rather not mess with it but GL to those dabbling in it

hikan2 · · #20086

Hi! What speed shows your L3+ on this site? I only have a 430 mh/s and 460 mh/s!

miles888 · · #20087

It really depends on the coin being mined. Hashrate isn’t everything; keep that in mind

S3KshuN8 · · #20088

my advice: don’t try to solo unless you know exactly which coin you want.

Curyz · · #20089

Pool seems to be stable for now (*knock on wood) :D

Gr33k · · #20090

If you’re asking why your hashrate is not matching on a pool - you are in need of some general reading ;)

S3KshuN8 · · #20091

but lazy Amerikkkans like me are too lazy to research and read. ;)

mmfiore · · #20092

Are we having fun yet!

mmfiore · · #20093

Its a good day to be mining...

S3KshuN8 · · #20094

my NiceHash 7-day history: http://i.imgur.com/vA0vq9V.png

mmfiore · · #20095

looks like it is declining

S3KshuN8 · · #20096

difficulty rising across the board as all of the L3+ units come online.

mmfiore · · #20097

at some point it wont pay to buy them. will be interesting to see.

mycide · · #20098

diff is raising quick next increase on ltc in 12 hours is over 20%

mycide · · #20099

but usually big hashers shut down calculated before to not raise it for next 2 days, turn machines back on ;)

mmfiore · · #20100

the thing that most people dont consider is that scrypt was desined to be asic resistant so by design scrypt coins will rapidly become difficult to get as asics increase

mycide · · #20101

even better advice: dont try to solo mine unless you know what you are doing ;)

mmfiore · · #20102

Four o[clock and all is well... my fellow miners... ;)

mmfiore · · #20103

yes I do experiments here and there but solo will be less viable as the asic onslaught continues.

mycide · · #20104

by the end of the year the L3+ will give peanuts if prices dont adjust upwards

mycide · · #20105

tip bank now to pay for 1 year electricity.

mycide · · #20106

if u need to support it from machine

mmfiore · · #20107

There will be many that mine for six months and then dump their machines once profits decline

mycide · · #20108

expect another gen machine twice as fast or ten times as fast in a year or so aswell.

mycide · · #20109

most likely spend all profits to buy that if u want to stay in the game ^^ and so it goes.

mmfiore · · #20110

The real action is in trading and investing not so much mining.

mycide · · #20111

yeah well have to be patient on that side ^^ the nice red and blue took my xchange funds.

mmfiore · · #20112

yes its a losing pr proposition you make your money back and then profit plummets and you spend more money getting new mahines

mmfiore · · #20113

whos red and blue?

mycide · · #20114

feds

mmfiore · · #20115

aye co rumba

mmfiore · · #20116

which exchange?

mycide · · #20117

btc-e

mmfiore · · #20118

ah yes heard about that. Where was btc-e physically located?

mmfiore · · #20119

what country

mycide · · #20120

most stabile exchange and oldest aswell. to bad the gox money was going through one of the admins there..

mycide · · #20121

before that when i started in 2013 i was in cryptsy... i had tons of eth and dash...

mmfiore · · #20122

oh no the double whammy

mycide · · #20123

so for me the money has been in mining for sure ^^

mmfiore · · #20124

I try not to keep money on exchanges

mycide · · #20125

if not i wouldnt be sitting here today i would be on a yacht enjoying myself, having someone else run my mining operation ^^

mycide · · #20126

back then it was a fet 100 dollars i didnt think much about it u know.

mycide · · #20127

100 million digibytes.

mycide · · #20128

for 2-3 satoshi a piece.

mycide · · #20129

btc few hundred dollars back then.

mmfiore · · #20130

I got my money out of cryptsy early. I changed it to shit coins and moved the shit coins to another exchange

mmfiore · · #20131

the next day cryptsy stopped that as well

mycide · · #20132

i saved maybe 1/4 out of there. used doge minutes before it shut down.
