Thanks. I

SpacedCowboy · · #18531

’ll get onto the co-lo then...

S3KshuN8 · · #18532

Want to mine but can’t afford Bitcoin? IDK try staking bitconnect coin for the pool. It can be done on a laptop...

S3KshuN8 · · #18533

Don’t know how? Don’t want to learn? PM me, and I’ll deposit bitconnect coin to my wallet with separate keys for each person...

joecolmenaresv · · #18534

hi, anyone else having issues linking aL3+ with Prohashing right now?

mikasdjricky · · #18535

Please, Could you Check? I think the shares accepted and profit are to low... at this time...

S3KshuN8 · · #18536

Was this on my solo run this morning? :) Scrypt GameCredit 12.5 0 727,460,188 $28.0417 Mature 1:25:29 AM 1758451

mmfiore · · #18537

so far for me the site is up and running. Earning are respectable> I am still checking by the hour to hour basis

SpacedCowboy · · #18538

@joecolmenaresv: Yep. I’ve got 16 of them not connected :(

mmfiore · · #18539

you can’t connect?

SpacedCowboy · · #18540

No connected miners. Very low earnings. Last night about 9pm I had all 16 online ...

mmfiore · · #18541

what kind of miner

megaquake · · #18542

Income a bit off yesterday?

SpacedCowboy · · #18543

16 x L3+

asodoco · · #18544

so more miners more profit?

Jalapan · · #18545

i have extremly low earnings and the earnings is hardly moving..

asodoco · · #18546

Scrypt: 8.23¢ · 0.00001860 BTC

asodoco · · #18547

for mh

asodoco · · #18548

it’s good

mycide · · #18549

@Jalapan same same, all you can do atm it seems look after to see if ur earning on par with market calculations

asodoco · · #18550

8-10 cents is good for scrypt

asodoco · · #18551

i have tried yesterday

Kuduzela · · #18552

Also the price of litecoin- if you paid on LTC has increased- which will affect LTC you were mining before- I'm still mining $40- but its showing $0.86 LTC- whilst before it would had been 0.99 or 1 LTC

mycide · · #18553

stales are record high for me atm

mycide · · #18554

LTC about to hit 52usd

gjaramillo · · #18555

do you guys can connect a D3 rental to PH? i am trying but not hashrate

SpacedCowboy · · #18556

ok: so seems like most of Labrador, Newfoundland is without internet atm (fallen tree!) so that’s why my miners aren’t mining...

mmfiore · · #18557

How are you chatting here if your internet is out. Are your miners at a different place?

SpacedCowboy · · #18558

Yep, I’m in CA, USA. Miners are in Labrador (Newfoundland, Canada). The $/kWh here is 0.33, there it’s 0.04, and "cooling" is just "open the door a bit more"...

SpacedCowboy · · #18559

It does make for a bit of confusion when something goes wrong though. Is it the pool or the co-lo...

mmfiore · · #18560

Interesting what is the company that hosts your miners?

SpacedCowboy · · #18561

Great North Data (http://www.greatnorthdata.com) although they’re full up right now. They

SpacedCowboy · · #18562

are building more datacenter though...

miles888 · · #18563

Haha a fellow newfie out there, yes b’ye

miles888 · · #18564

Haha the datacenter mentality is always follow the cold, way to be haha

mmfiore · · #18565

very interesting thanks. I like having control over my miners but I can see where that location is a great place to mine.

miles888 · · #18566

Lots of big setups in Iceland too, but I heard the power cost averaged 5 cents per Kwh, no industrial discount

wisdomofsol · · #18567

so much stale shares....ugh!!!

mmfiore · · #18568

Whatis th percent of stale shares you are getting?

Yapudan · · #18569

My stale shares at 180 never seen it like that before. I switched over to lower difficulty this morning had 131 before with L3+ how are you guys finding this stick with higher difficulty or the lower difficulty?

mmfiore · · #18570

what a strange coincidence my stale shares are also exactly 180

mmfiore · · #18571

What is your hashrate?

nickske88 · · #18572

ph is acting very strange last weeks! all the time no valid shares or calculating hashrate!! Very low earnings also during last week! Thought they did some changes to improve the pool? :o

mmfiore · · #18573

what difficulty were you at?

nickske88 · · #18574

default (automatic)

Yapudan · · #18575

480 hash rate at the moment

Yapudan · · #18576

Was at 131 now at 16...

mmfiore · · #18577

480mhs

nickske88 · · #18578

I have 35 L3+ total.... 21 connected and 14 no valid shares yet!!! somebody know what the problem with PH is?

Yapudan · · #18579

Yes

mmfiore · · #18580

one machine or more

Yapudan · · #18581

Just one machine l3+

wisdomofsol · · #18582

mmfiore wrote: 480mhs
this....

fire3916 · · #18583

I have found that a diff setting at 16384 is averaging 3,300 shares in a 2 hr period with a 97.5% efficiency rating on the L3+. I went to 65k and 131k a few days ago and watched the efficiency drop to the low 80’s so I put it back to 16k and have had no issues since

mmfiore · · #18584

interesting info. blocks are changing to fast for higher difficulty settings.

mmfiore · · #18585

problem is if we all lower the difficulty we will bring down the pool. We need to hold up the difficulty setting as high as we can.

fire3916 · · #18586

If everyone lowers the diff settings, that is a risk that could be taken. But considering we’re already risking thousands if not millions of dollars in mining it could prove to be a rewarding risk if it’s played out right with those who have multiple miners that can set some at a high diff while lowering others to even out the pool

fire3916 · · #18587

Also have to take into consideration that majority of the coins mined have low difficulties as is it now <1000 for 30 of them, then you would need to monitor when those diffs are adjusted and make the proper adjustments on your miners to meet the new demand

wisdomofsol · · #18588

ill keep mine @ 131k so feel free to lower your diff on 2 L3+ @fire3916 :

mmfiore · · #18589

I am keeping my high as well. We have already seen this pool go down multiple times for hours at a time. A few extra stale is not going to be a big deal.

deez2here · · #18590

Are any of you having issues with dynamic target difficulty? I’m starting to wonder if I should be manually setting difficulty

deez2here · · #18591

Letting PH automatically set my difficulty seems to result in each of my L3 miners having a different setting or sometimes it just defaults back to 16K and stops reporting the hashrate. I’m starting to think it may be more beneficial to set a minimum difficulty of 65K or higher using the h= option

mmfiore · · #18592

I have been running very well at 65k

deez2here · · #18593

Are you using the h= option to set minimum difficulty or using the d= option to set a static difficulty?

dc101 · · #18594

Is anyone know what is going on with BCC yesterday when it was $135 suddenly drop to $2x? thanks

mmfiore · · #18595

It looks like a big sell off but no news on who sold or why.

cryptomex · · #18596

Still problems with blocks found that didnt shows on earnings

mmfiore · · #18597

Its at a hunderd rith now

FRISKIE · · #18598

So a week of vacation to play games, a long weekend to watch eclipse, and since that wasn’t enough rest, all day today so far without an appearance by the brothers. What bullshit, @Steve, Chris, either commit to shit and fix this shit or let everyone know you’re not not capable of growing a pair so everyone can get on with their lives elsewhere.

mmfiore · · #18599

Suddenly someone sold large amount into the buy stack forcing the price down

Gr33k · · #18600

hurray more pool issues

Gr33k · · #18601

FML

Gr33k · · #18602

and @dc101 - BCC’s exchange was down for maintenance which dropped price a ton

Gr33k · · #18603

almost back to normal today it seems

mmfiore · · #18604

I have tried to encourage them to invest in a full time programmer to fix things but so far they are reluctant to move in that direction.

Gr33k · · #18605

many suggestions have been made - All they have to do is DO SOMETHING at this point

Gr33k · · #18606

anything god damn it

dc101 · · #18607

thanks

mmfiore · · #18608

I know a really great programmer that could really make this pool sing the high notes.

Gr33k · · #18609

@dc101 :  np :)

dc101 · · #18610

so there is still problem with website/

mmfiore · · #18611

I worked with him many years ago. The best software engineer I ever knew.

dc101 · · #18612

why don’t you partner up with him to start a new pool mmfiore? :)

mmfiore · · #18613

Working okay for me at the moment. I will do another check and see,

Gr33k · · #18614

it’s working ok but stratum flopping -shares lagging (may not all be accounted for)

dc101 · · #18615

I just moved to bcc.coin-miners... yesterday and the drop was dropping after I moved :)

dc101 · · #18616

so thinking to move back here to get LTC instead of BCC

mmfiore · · #18617

stale rate is high and mining efficiency is dropping

Gr33k · · #18618

here is fine just have a backup pool or you’ll lose money

Gr33k · · #18619

and the efficiency issue and stales have been a problem for weeks

dc101 · · #18620

yeah I know those problems aren’t fix yet, but with all the problems still see this pool has good profit

deez2here · · #18621

random disconnects to

deez2here · · #18622

this pool is currently paying better than nicehash

dc101 · · #18623

oh yes way too much disconnected on the other day

deez2here · · #18624

this whole dynamic difficulty setting seems to be inconsistent at best or just broken

dc101 · · #18625

i tried the bcc.coin-miners.. it is really much the same profit as here, just that it’s only pay out BCC

mmfiore · · #18626

I have not been able to get my miners to work there. I have Titans

dc101 · · #18627

BCC is going up to $103 wow.. how bought it yesterday makes a lump sum

dc101 · · #18628

who i mean

joecolmenaresv · · #18629

Has anyone tried Hash-to-coins? is it better tham Prohashing?
