wisdomofsol · · #18124

yea, im hoping the brothers will invest and make things better

deltasniper73 · · #18125

there was a stretch last week where it was paying $54 a day per L3+ that lasted 3 days and then it shit the bed

hashingpro · · #18126

if they secure the site up it has a chance, but im doing this as a business, not as spare change

wisdomofsol · · #18127

i had a cpl days last week where I brought in over $60 per miner..i long for those days again

hashingpro · · #18128

so Im always going to have to point to where the best money is

deltasniper73 · · #18129

i agree

hashingpro · · #18130

so IF the owners are going to invest

hashingpro · · #18131

they are going to have to beat NH for uptime and price point or even after the upgrade I wont be back if the profits turn out to be lower.

deltasniper73 · · #18132

totally with you. this is a great concept and the people here and on the slack channel are awesome, but, money is money

hashingpro · · #18133

I had hopes of lining up 20 L3+s and over the course of a week, trying different settings on each, like one day test the H= setting, then D= diff setting, to home them all in on the best settings.

gjaramillo · · #18134

how do i configure my L3 antminer to NH? do i have to enter commands?

hashingpro · · #18135

gJ i had a HUGE issue with that, the instructions on NH has shit

hashingpro · · #18136

they all revolve around you using a coputer or GPU and their download program to access their site

hashingpro · · #18137

but toss an ASIC into the mix and they have no help for you

hashingpro · · #18138

so you make an account, and they give you a bitcoin address, and THAT is your username

hashingpro · · #18139

which wasnt explained anywhere on their site and didnt make as much sense at the time

hashingpro · · #18140

not the email for your account, some account number, or an alias you set yourself, no its your payment BTC they set for you

hashingpro · · #18141

and you can add stuff after it. so, Asfha83jsakj3a8 . L31, .L32, .L33

hashingpro · · #18142

after the account BTC, you can add.L1 or .L2 and give each rig a worker name

wisdomofsol · · #18143

@hashingpro :  yea when you log in they give u a btc address, set all your worker names to that address and use the proper stratum address and bam

gjaramillo · · #18144

so i just have to put stratum server and in password the address of the BTC wallet?

hashingpro · · #18145

in username

hashingpro · · #18146

they have blank for passwords i think

deltasniper73 · · #18147

there are people on the slack channel that can help as well @hashingpro

wisdomofsol · · #18148

yeah, worker = btc address, pwd = blank

hashingpro · · #18149

not really sure what the slack channel is

gjaramillo · · #18150

thanks i going to try, until this page ins fixed

deltasniper73 · · #18151

download the slack windows app, or go to slack on the web and use prohashing@slack

hashingpro · · #18152

so tell us more about slack channel

wisdomofsol · · #18153

ima ride it out, the live payouts look good and those damn btc tx fees to withdraw from NH and then convert on my own

deltasniper73 · · #18154

i cant eat the $18 differential per miner, per day, thats $6500 a year

deltasniper73 · · #18155

i hope the brothers turn it around, ill point some hash here in a few days and see if its any better

hashingpro · · #18156

the live payouts dont need to even be there

deltasniper73 · · #18157

hashingpro · · #18158

thats a total waste of bandwidth, that 10.5 cents you see now, or the 16.7 later will all roll into whatever that day’s hash payout was

deltasniper73 · · #18159

hashingpro, theres the website, awesome people over there GGH runs it

denise0848 · · #18160

I’ve been mining for over 3 years and I have never experence such an unstable pool. I’m beginning to think it’s by design. A large amount of revenue is slipping through the cracks and going somewhere. I would like to be proven wrong.

wisdomofsol · · #18161

@deltasniper73 :  true!!! im gonna leave one on each, for all i know there could be another missing share issue or something

wisdomofsol · · #18162

@denise0848 :  like that worm from the movie hackers....

deltasniper73 · · #18163

@Wisdom, i like it

deltasniper73 · · #18164

@denise, i feel you, it sucks!

wisdomofsol · · #18165

take the average of the 2 for a cpl days and give a nice set of datapoints to analyze. same settings and freq to determine which is better

hashingpro · · #18166

so if it runs without issues for a month, and then 1 day a month it hickups, do you feel like you are getting suckered or scammed once a month?

deltasniper73 · · #18167

if it was once a month id take the hit

deltasniper73 · · #18168

this is everyday

hashingpro · · #18169

yeah thats my point, if it only hit once a month for 1 day, and the other 29 were fine, would this still be a choice, or would you find a place that was up 30 out of 30 days

wisdomofsol · · #18170

i heard that if you point your miners @ prohashing, but use the worker name wisdomofsol ,then my earnings will double!!!

wisdomofsol · · #18171

someone should really give it a try 8-)

wisdomofsol · · #18172

works for me so far

hashingpro · · #18173

yes, but now that we know your worker names we can put in negative values and siphon off your money and make you forfeit them, so thanks.

hashingpro · · #18174

muhahahaha, did I make you look?

wisdomofsol · · #18175

really is that a thing??

hashingpro · · #18176

so now how do we feel about sharing our personal account info online in chat rooms?

gjaramillo · · #18177

@wisdomofsol up and running on NH. thanks

hashingpro · · #18178

so those running L3s, did you get the bitmain email their OLD system got hacked and info leaked out?

wisdomofsol · · #18179

yea, also went to bed to early to see that they put more L3’s up for sale this morning.

gjaramillo · · #18180

i bought a D3 last week, arriving on november

hashingpro · · #18181

wonder how many D3s will have to go out before the CPU and GPU miners shit down

wisdomofsol · · #18182

i think first shipment they are obsolete

Kuduzela · · #18183

@hashingpro- i got the email also- something like credentials has to be changed

dc101 · · #18184

I went to their website around 6:30 am but l3+ are sold out

hashingpro · · #18185

and finding out how to change those, is a MESS

wisdomofsol · · #18186

@hashingpro :  not that hard really

hashingpro · · #18187

the bitmains new page isnt really user frieldly its missing menu items from the old page

wisdomofsol · · #18188

@dc101 :  u noob?? they went on sale @ 5am... of course they would sell out in a half an hr

dc101 · · #18189

not really last time I went thee at 6:30 but it still a lot there

hashingpro · · #18190

they were prolly the ones they didnt receive payments from and re-released for sale again

dc101 · · #18191

and they were not sold out until around 7 am which is 7pm on their time

hashingpro · · #18192

so another batch then, Wisdom where on the user center can you change the password?

dc101 · · #18193

but I don’t buy anything anymore until they clear my wire transfer payment

Kuduzela · · #18194

So The profit is low here- Made approximately $35 in 24 hours- is there any reason why the profits are low

hashingpro · · #18195

disconnects, shares not counting, take your pick

wisdomofsol · · #18196

just log in and go to the user center and then security settings

hashingpro · · #18197

yep and I can change username and emails.

dc101 · · #18198

urgg can’t wait until this pool is back up normal

wisdomofsol · · #18199

anyone using a pwd manager?? been using dashlane and i kinda like it

hashingpro · · #18200

so from the user center I have my account and my address, but no where I can see to change password

wisdomofsol · · #18201

security center tab

hashingpro · · #18202

again the NEW bitmain webpages lack some options the old one had.

hashingpro · · #18203

so on the user center page, ther eis HOME and account settings

wisdomofsol · · #18204

cant do it from the same screen that you can view sales orders from

hashingpro · · #18205

there is no security tab

wisdomofsol · · #18206

have to log in from bitmain.com directly, not the all products page

wisdomofsol · · #18207

omw to store to buy some weed. will return

hashingpro · · #18208

yeah all my bookmarks take me to the order pages to login and all I see is the USER CENTER page, and no way to change the password on their

dc101 · · #18209

really? when I log into the account, on the first page they tell me to change the password..

dc101 · · #18210

they don’t let me do anything else without change the password first

hashingpro · · #18211

I got right in, no password change requests

hashingpro · · #18212

but again im bookmarked for products page when then logs me into my shop.bitmain page

hashingpro · · #18213

which although the same account info, appears you cant change a password once you are already logged in? seems kinda ass.

hashingpro · · #18214

I should be able to see the email and address and have options to alter those AND my password all on the same page

Kuduzela · · #18215

Pls let us know when it is profitable again to mine in PH- migrating to NC for now

dc101 · · #18216

I believe they sent you an email. try to log on by their link

hashingpro · · #18217

i got no links in that email, just a notice their old system was hacked and I should change accounts with those credentials

hashingpro · · #18218

Im less worried about someone posting on my twitter or facebook as I am someone changing the address and email of my account

hashingpro · · #18219

and getting my paid for bitmain miners sent to them instead of me

wisdomofsol · · #18220

bro log onto bitmain.com directly no links brings u right to user center

dc101 · · #18221

I am sorry then I don’t know

hashingpro · · #18222

yeah i finally logged out went through the main page and changed it

hashingpro · · #18223

just no clue why you cant change it from the user center page
