I tried to use them, but the main problems were simple greed. Setting the rates so high you coulnt clearn a thing,

wkying79 · · #11505

miningrigrental prices are too high to make short term profit. if there is a strategy to profit i can’t figure it out...

andrianto · · #11506

Live Balance I have not entered the private wallet yet

wkying79 · · #11508

@andrianto u pointed MRR rig to gcoin?

andrianto · · #11509

@wkying79 :  yess..

mickeekung · · #11510

Mr.Konov just order 300GH/s of Scrypt on Nicehash. Woohoo. Great!!!!

AvPro · · #11511

Exchange too volatile for BCC?

vhmanu · · #11512

X11 1094 GH/s

mickeekung · · #11513

Hey Steve and Chris. Something is wrong again. Last share processed: 5 minutes ago. And X11 aroung 750-800 GH/s

FRISKIE · · #11514

I've realized what Konov does has no effect on what I do. He's a little guy trying to play a mans game.

FRISKIE · · #11515

He has no effect on the prices, and no broader effect on the market. His has been a miscalculation, and that he persists in pouring ever more money into the same failed strategy is a pathetic case of frustration.

FRISKIE · · #11516

Aha, the man himself, so I can say this to your face, you are a failure and even worse, you have not the sense to realize when the game is up and time to stop bleeding money and go back to the drawing board.

FRISKIE · · #11517

You are a failure Konov.

Konov · · #11518

haha

coldstone · · #11519

hi chris/steve.. can you add some new coins as payout options? lots of new good coins have been created, for instance i would like to see Siacoin (SC) payouts..

mickeekung · · #11520

Good morning Steve. Hi.

Steve Sokolowski · · #11521

Why not submit a support ticket for this? Perhaps Chris will be able to add it. It will depend on whether the API is compatible with the standard bitcoin API or not

Litecreative · · #11522

Hi Steve is Bitconnect solo ming working?? As when I use pps I ususualhy almost get 1 block a day which is an nice 600$ ffor the pool but when I solo mine bcc It takes 30 minutes just to find an mine a dud block, I only see 2-3 block which is duds an hour? Ive been solo mining a day without a block, Ill keep it up for another day, If I dont find a block ill open a thread because I dont think ure solo mining on bcc is setup correct

Litecreative · · #11523

my scrypt hashrate I well over 3.5 ghs and depending on the calcs I should easily find a block a day, which I do on auto switch, on bcc where I my miners only mine that coin 50% a day, where if I solo mine .... nothing...

n00bminer · · #11524

litecreative. why not just set up a p2pool on your own net? there are tons of instructions out there. pretty easy to setup

n00bminer · · #11525

taka · · #11526

?? fuge rejected in pool whats happen from NH

mickeekung · · #11527

Hey stale share raise.

Litecreative · · #11528

Good advice N00bminer im actually busy setting up now, would of been cool if the pool worked correctly though, im very positive it doesnt worjo correctly

taka · · #11529

Live balances so late working something wrong

n00bminer · · #11530

I believe you, something has gone wacky with BCC lately

Litecreative · · #11531

noobminer, I dont understand that link, can hyou help me

taka · · #11532

Speed at pool 0.0000 GH/s but can mining??????? from NH

Litecreative · · #11533

where it says simply copy and past tht code in config, where it say .. your_miner, must you create your own name or copy paste just like that

Litecreative · · #11534

and when you go to your asic miner what is your miners username and password? your bcc wallet adress, that link is extremely shit, ddoesnt help

n00bminer · · #11535

yea the rpc user and password

n00bminer · · #11536

rpcuser=n00bminer rpcpassword=1234

n00bminer · · #11537

then here minerd --url=http://127.0.0.1:4210 --userpass=n00bminer:1234

n00bminer · · #11538

again, are your miners on your local network?

Litecreative · · #11539

I dont use minerd

Litecreative · · #11540

So I do not run bat files I use asic miner with user interface

n00bminer · · #11541

are your miners on your own local network?

n00bminer · · #11542

it will not work if not

Litecreative · · #11543

Yes my local network

n00bminer · · #11544

ok, so, high level, first part is to setup the wallet as a generating daemon, that is the conf part

Litecreative · · #11545

Ok I have wallet

n00bminer · · #11546

you need a rpcuser and rpcpassword. you will use these in your miner configuration as you would the pool

Litecreative · · #11547

Ill setup config

n00bminer · · #11548

so, what ever you put there, you will need to change on your miner software as your user/password as if you were connecting to a pool username/password

n00bminer · · #11549

for the url on the mining software of the "pool" you will put your wallet's IP. in the example they use 127.0.0.1

Litecreative · · #11550

Ok let me quickly do that firt wait

Litecreative · · #11551

thx for the help

n00bminer · · #11552

np

Litecreative · · #11553

Ok its done rcpusername and password setup

n00bminer · · #11554

ok, you'll need to exit and restart your wallet for it to take effect

Litecreative · · #11555

what will my wallets ip be?

n00bminer · · #11556

are you using windows?

Litecreative · · #11557

yes

n00bminer · · #11558

goto the cmd prompt and type ipconfig

Litecreative · · #11559

Must I use my computers ip? or internet ip?

n00bminer · · #11560

computers

n00bminer · · #11561

the local one

n00bminer · · #11562

your mining will happen on your local network, the only thing that will go external will be the wallet pulling from other nodes

n00bminer · · #11563

as normal

Litecreative · · #11564

ok so it must be static

Litecreative · · #11565

dynamic wont work

n00bminer · · #11566

not really, I doubt your local ip changes too often, unless you power off the wallet computer

n00bminer · · #11567

if it has a ip lease, it will not change unless it is powered off for some time

Litecreative · · #11568

ok no problem I hve static what must port be?

Litecreative · · #11569

ip was setup now

n00bminer · · #11570

as in the conf file and the example. your url will be ipaddress:4210

Litecreative · · #11571

must you put wallet adress any where?

Litecreative · · #11572

or does that not matter

n00bminer · · #11573

so what is your local ip address right now?

n00bminer · · #11574

192.168.?

Litecreative · · #11575

10.0.0.237

n00bminer · · #11576

ok

Litecreative · · #11577

and then port stays 4210

n00bminer · · #11578

so in your miner software your url to pool is 10.0.0.237:4210

n00bminer · · #11579

yes correct

Litecreative · · #11580

ok cool and the miner username and password will be the ones I setup

n00bminer · · #11581

if your miner software splits the pool url and port, then you will have to do that 10.0.0.237 and port 4210

n00bminer · · #11582

correct!

Litecreative · · #11583

must I use stratum?

n00bminer · · #11584

the ONLY thing that will hold you back now will be windows firewall or some other security/av software

n00bminer · · #11585

no sir, do not use stratum keywork

n00bminer · · #11586

just put the ip

Litecreative · · #11587

ok, if I find blok it will payout to my wallet?

Litecreative · · #11588

let me quickly test

n00bminer · · #11589

depending on the miner software, you may need to place the http://

Litecreative · · #11590

ok good so no where I have to put physical miner adress

Litecreative · · #11591

I mean wallet adress

n00bminer · · #11592

no sir. they will go to your wallet

Litecreative · · #11593

it will automatically pick up to wallet

fattygrub · · #11594

@ n00bminer i’ve been thinking of soloing BCC too. So if you guys think soloing BCC at PH isn’t working... do you think i could set up the BCC wallet on my local machine and then point nicehash to my machine?

n00bminer · · #11595

yes, as your wallet is really the endpoint to the blockchain

n00bminer · · #11596

fattygrub, you could but you would need to open some ports

n00bminer · · #11597

best would be to get a vps and start a node, with a real secure user/pass and do the same process

n00bminer · · #11598

if you go the vps route, I would just take the time (extra 15-30 minutes) and set up a p2pool for bcc. that has a TON more stats

fattygrub · · #11599

right, hmm, sounds interesting... the official BCC pool finds about 3 blocks per day running about 11G

n00bminer · · #11600

ou will not get shares in solo mining, really. Shares are to be expected when poolmining and are sometimes an indication of whether your mining is working or not, but in this case your miner will only show a share when it finds a block, so don't expect any shares to be accepted by the miner.

n00bminer · · #11601

so, it can be unnerving mining to a wallet as you do not see "progress", HOWEVER, if you set up a p2pool you will see attempts/stats/etc

Litecreative · · #11602

n00bminer still not working ... hmmm

n00bminer · · #11603

are you getting a connect failure?
