looking forward to javapipe I am as well, have just spent a while over on their site reviewing the solution and it looks good, in fact the remote DDoS solution looks almost tailor made for our needs here.
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 18, 2017 08:47 PM UTC · #7399

GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 18, 2017 08:53 PM UTC · #7418

lilbob · Sun Jun 18, 2017 08:53 PM UTC · #7419

GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 18, 2017 08:54 PM UTC · #7423

lilbob wrote: yessir. for several reasons. one, hundreds were dumped by a farm having legal issues interesting. can you point me to a write-up on this? curious what the legal issue was.
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 18, 2017 09:12 PM UTC · #7428

frphm · Sun Jun 18, 2017 10:32 PM UTC · #7433
So are we gonna start taking bets on when the pool will come back online?
lilbob · Sun Jun 18, 2017 10:32 PM UTC · #7434
the legal write up was in the ebay sale, i think more than 3000 orbs. in the description it was; ’these boxes are taking up half our garage’
lilbob · Sun Jun 18, 2017 10:33 PM UTC · #7435

Good morning so no information prohashing pool?? Now??
frphm · Sun Jun 18, 2017 11:54 PM UTC · #7440
Good morning Taka! None yet. Lots of problems with Verizon they’re trying to work out, and some of Verizon’s support staff apparently don’t work on the weekends.
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 18, 2017 11:58 PM UTC · #7441
they may have to wait until monday business hours to resolve the issue with verizon, in the meantime their going to try routing traffic through a VPS DDoS Protection service called Javapipe. still no eta though
taka · Mon Jun 19, 2017 12:01 AM UTC · #7442
Oh I see I know Verizon has problem
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 19, 2017 01:36 AM UTC · #7443

3rd party escrow FRISKIE · Mon Jun 19, 2017 09:45 AM UTC · #7448
I also received the larger of my payouts - i believe Chris went through and sent the larger payouts as a priority, so the smaller ones will probably need a little more patience. e.g. My larger BTC payout went out already, but I also have an Ethereum amount somewhere in the USD 20-30 range hat did not. So yeah, guess we'll all need a little patience with those smaller ones while they focus on getting the system back online
AvPro · Mon Jun 19, 2017 11:39 AM UTC · #7449
Looks like PH not the only Scrypt pool getting DDOS these past few days. Someone clealry hungry for more net hash at pool operators expense. Strongly encourage 2FA if any of these other Scrypt pools ending up compromising auth data
Steve Sokolowski · Mon Jun 19, 2017 12:44 PM UTC · #7450
Forums going offline for an hour while IP address is changed
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 19, 2017 03:15 PM UTC · #7453
Strongly encourage 2FA Under the current circumstances with compromised auth data and payouts being redirected, I would be rather suspicious of anyone who argues strongly against 2FA
krivoship67 · Mon Jun 19, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #7455

Chris Sokolowski · Tue Jun 20, 2017 08:20 PM UTC · #7465
After it’s online, we’ll have a full update on what we changed on the backend to avoid DDoS.

Steve Sokolowski · Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:46 PM UTC · #7489
the people who are here right now are going to earn a fortune because the most profitable coins haven’t been mined out recently
n00bminer · Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:50 PM UTC · #7490

JoeTheMiner · Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:52 PM UTC · #7492

no love, prohashing stratum does not resolve on att, but forums.prohashing.com does... Guess it’s a waiting game for ATT DNS
