Algorithm Statistics

With so many options for GPU miners here, it's become quite difficult to decide which is the best algorithm for pick at any given time. At the moment I do a manual calculation of adding up the past 8 days on the PH main page and averaging. However, is there a faster way of doing this? Could an average be added to the main page?
