does anyone know what the 'i' stands for with the latest designation Bitmain now has on all of it's SHA-256 miners? or maybe said another way, what is the difference between these new models and the older ones?

They're still max 14TH. The L3++ are factory overclocked L3s though.

I just think they're dumping, but still a good enough deal with a coupon. 12nm won't offer that much more performance over 16nm, so if you have access to sub $.08/kWh, I still think they're worth it. Definitely a risk at this point

thats my thinking. i think they are getting ready to roll out the 12/14nm chip sets and are dumping what they have been running. can't say for sure this is what is happening but just the impression i am getting here.

Congrats to you, digging up a 1 month old post that I deleted my comment from.
So glad your first post was to criticize that which you do not understand or know anything about.

Way to be an ASS!
