Miners are constantly dropping

Ignore the drastic drop. I just got fed up and left for a day and some. But still need to know what's going on!
I go anywhere else and I am perfectly fine. No drops or nothing. Only on PH this happens.

My settinss:

stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333
robeca
n=robeca.xxx m=solo c=yyy

xxx is equal to the # of worker e.g. robeca.1, robeca.2 etc
yyy is equal to whatever coin I am mining e.g Bitcoin, Litecoin etc

Can someone enlighten me?

The above post are my L3+'s.

This is what my S9's look like...

The drops on the first picture from 5/3 might have been server restarts.

The rest of the graphs seem pretty normal to me, and the slide from the day you took off then started back up after that.

I think its more in how the graphs are made, what data they represent. I do not think its a continual graph of your machines performance.
I could be wrong but I think its a sampling, so at any point when the samples are taken its higher or lower than norm, but if you add up all the graph points and divide the median would in theory be close to what your expected hash should be, the longer over time you take the closer to your actual hashrate you should get.

If the machines are kicking out completely it could be that the solo coin you are trying to mine on those machines has gone into error.
Depending how you connect in, directly from the machines, or through a service like MRR or NH, if you continue to try to mine a coin in error it may boot you off the system for a period of time. If you omit the solo and coin specification you may find you stay connected with more machines longer and more often as it will always place you on coins that are available.

Hope that helps some.

I've literally watched several machines completely drop out while the remaining stay connected. It's a different set of machines everytime. Nothing definitive at all. Power is adequate. Im on 240 30amp. Each machine on their own circuit for now until I get more. Interweb is intact. No slowdowns or network traffic other than the miners themselves on the connection.

I have been monitoring them through awesomeminer and they in fact do drop out of the loop altogether.

It's so frustrating because I could be missing out on potential blocks amd it only happens here and I actually like it here better than elsewhere.

If I dropped the solo then I wouldn't be mining for blocks so that's going to be a no go.

If I added everything up and divided I would be short.

I've even tried underclocking when I go with PH. Same results.
It's truly baffling me at this point!

As far as errors, I've not seen anything other than BCH on the payout mention error due to fork, but I am not even mining BCH.

Does your graph also portray a similar path of ups and downs to think it may be a sampling issue of the data from when it is drawn?

I found a different thread waaaay back(2015) where this was happening and they had to implement a fix which seemed to help out a lot.

Thx for your response. I appreciate it I just want to get this fixed asap!

Here is an example of what I have mining Scrypt... my MH/s is for 15 machines OCd to 575.

I go from 8600+ to 4500

Edit; and my machine temps are all 58-60 so they are good.

When you go to the CHARTS page, at the bottom, click NAME and ALL.
Those are all the coins the site mines, any of them with a RED BOX around them are in error mode.

I'm not sure what all coins you are mining, or if all the machines are mining the same coin at the same time.
If you have 4 miners on this coin, 4 on that one, and 4 on the next...if any of those coins goes into error then the 4 machines on it would bounce.

So there are a lot of coins in and out of errors all day long that are not just BCH and are not reported. I think the BCH was more of a payout issue and not even a mining one. If you want your machines to not go into error mode, removing the static+solo would put it into pool mode, mine the most profitable coin available, and payout to you in whatever payout choice you want. You don't have to mine BTC to earn BTC. you can mine digibyte or whatever is the highest coin automatically and get paid in the coin/coins of your choice.

Good Luck!

dgb, xvg, game. none of which have had any errors

If the machines are all directly connected to the site, like not through a service like mining rig rentals or some other managed service, then I am at a loss.

Put in a help ticket and see what they say.
Good Luck.

i don't know awesome miner, but i see you have the miners in two groups. how could you see what individual miners are doing by looking at it like that? does it work without awesome miner?
each spike on the chart is a submitted share, the dips are when no shares are submitted. bigger shares are bigger spikes. so maybe try setting static difficulty so shares are more regular than dynamic difficulty.
it might help if you verify the miners are actually dropping out by looking at their console and what it's actually doing.
and one last thing you could try but i don't know if it does anything for your miners is adding /#skipcbcheck to the pool url if it says all pools dead because of coinbase checks

I am at a loss as well CSZiggy. Directly connected. No 3rd parties involved.

spauk, as explained, you give each miner an individual handle via

n=robeca.xxx m=solo c=yyy
xxx is equal to the # of worker e.g. robeca.1, robeca.2 etc

I just awesomeminer to monitor. Nothing else.

I have verified it. They have drop off completely =/.
I guess I'll add the d= argument. to set the difficulty. I have to go figure whats best for several coins as they are all different difficulties.
It will be well worth t if it helps in the long run.

so I add /#skipcbcheck right after the port? exactly as typed?

I appreciate your suggestions and help.
