In order to add Bitcoin Gold to our list of equihash mining options next week, we need to be able to connect to its testnet. We can't add the coin without successfully submitting blocks to it, because Bitcoin Gold differs from other equihash coins in its block header format.
While we were finally able to figure out how to compile the testnet client, we can't find any peers. Could someone reply with some peers for the Bitcoin Gold testnet?
i can run a node on my linux.
i also have a spare widows 7/64 machine i could run a 2nd node on.
would you send me coins and i just send them back just to see if confirms work?
i could run 2 or 3 cores of my linux cpu to generate mining traffic (ie: confirmation blocks)
on the win7/64 machine i have a low-end gpu i could generate mining traffic also.

Hey buddy, Steve is asking you ...: "Are these IPs a TESTNET nodes and NOT a PRODUCTION nodes?" ...Do you understand the question ? and the DIFFERENCE between a TESTNET and REAL, PRODUCTION, LIVE running blockchain ?
I see what you mean I did some digging and I found these
mainnet:
dnsseed.bitcoingold.org
dnsseed.btcgpu.org
eu-dnsseed.bitcoingold-official.org
testnet:
test-dnsseed.bitcoingold.org
test-dnsseed.btcgpu.org
eu-test-dnsseed.bitcoingold-official.org

message me at prohash @ dognose . com if needed
I don't understand this question. We are asking for the IP addresses of testnet nodes. Sending coins isn't necessary to connect to a node, and we can tell whether the node is connected without sending them.
ahhh, okay if thats all, i just wonder how you can 'test' anything without moving anything...
no problem, i was just volunteering to set up a new node if you needed it with someone who could be responsive to
specific types of transaction testing.

BTG is currently working on a new diff algo. You can test the algo by building a new client and connecting to:
