miner config

hello all marcus here :) ..... this is my first time mining and would like to get an idea of the miner configuration ... i read the "help" section which explains everything but i cant figure it out :( ... i want to mine x11 coins and understands that "a=x11" ... but how do i input that into the miner config ...
