Does it have anything to do with setting up a secondary router？

Try no spaces on the password.

Did I add a switch?

URL: stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333
Username: (your prohash username)
Password: n=(workername)

Example:
stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333
