Anyone want to buy 5 mini-doge and a L3++ 580?

josep01972 · · #101714

Did I get banned? For some reason, solo mining BTC stopped working for me. I don’t believe I have done anything different than before. Any ideas?

I’m using cgminer 4.11.1 ad a couple of gekko-2pacs USB sticks (yes I know, low hash rates... :) )

Thanks for letting us know. It looks like a few people who’ve been having trouble have now been able to get in. If everyone could try logging in again now, that would be great.

Might be a firewall issue (computer or router)

Did we ever find out why Coinbase is holding Prohashing payments to some customers? I had two days of funds released, but now have three days on hold again.

Chris is talking with Coinbase to try to prevent this from happening every day, but it hasn’t been resolved yet.

I can’t tell for sure, but I don’t think that is the problem. I turned off firewalls in windows and the router brifly to test and still got the same behavior.

Too bad there isn’t much you can do about bots. We had some success with blocking lots of one-use mailproviders, getting the bot-numbers down to 1-2 a month

It’s normally not too bad, but this time they went into like 30+ old posts and tacked the spam on as responses. Well played, Mr. Bot.

We are currently waiting on a deposit to clear, so the ACH payouts will go through when that clears. They should show up today or Monday.

So, with the whole significant drop in profitability of ETH what’s everyone been mining lately? lol

Kaffiend · · #101773

its killing me but ETH still. For the last week sometimes switching to ETC

Daeghan · · #101774

I have one computer set to ETC due to the card being too small for the regular ETH, and I don’t really care for the low memory one...Seems like nothing is really that much of a difference in whats profitable to mine at the moment

Kaffiend · · #101775

yea i only mine here. little flux in profit between eth and etc currently. kawpow still not worth it currently. things will change once eth goes POS

Kaffiend · · #101776

I still want to try an asic but with the profitability in the dumps it would never pay itself off. All i have seen seem far too expensive for their output.

Chris Sokolowski · · #101790

One of our disks was corrupted after a system restart, but we have full backups. I am working on restoring coins from our backups in the order of most mined to least mined.

Daeghan · · #101791

That’s unfortunate! Thanks for the news!!!!

Chia services are back up and running. We’re just waiting for Chia to resync with the network before mining resumes.

is that even after taking into account the outage timeframe and the fact that low-memory eth is still down?

Kaffiend · · #101813

whole pool hashrate had a dropped off at 7am but far as i know i never lost connections and have been always mining. i put in a ticket see what happens

Hashratesh4 · · #101814

Hey! New guy here on forums! I noticed as well payouts are a little light thought it was my rig but everything seems to be running fine.

Sarah Manter · · #101815

The dogecoin client was offline for part of Sunday, and that contributes a lot to scrypt profitability, so it would be down on Sunday but back to normal today. But that’s the only algorithm that should be lower. Some other algorithms like etchash were offline for a few hours, and the equipment should have switched to a backup pool, so if you have lots of equipment then that outage would also reduce your payout. We will be implementing having multiple copies of each coin client running so that such an outage does not occur again.

Kaffiend · · #101823

yea by end of day will be about 30% as well
