Found an image bug in the Dashboard. Mining etchash algo and using Proswitching. This image file is missing and only the file path is listed. Sent a chat message on the site as well. Mining is working. This is just a cosmetic bug.
As for the earlier question about Prohashing not having miners in the pool, I see it as they are providing the backend data, reports and tax info if you are in the US like me. We users are providing the hashing power and while collectively we do not provide the largest hashing power, we are helping to keep things decentralized. The last thing we want is one single group with all the power. Could we make a little more if we went to the largest hashing power pool, sure but would that be the best thing for the network, I do not believe so. That is of course just my opinion.

I got hit by hackers for $6,000 last week. They got into my Coinbase account. I retrieved everything, dumped Coinbase. No more of that for me. A few years back I lost a chunk when Nicehash got hacked, right when Bitcoin was at it’s peak. Nicehash paid me it all back, took a bit of time but all that Bitcoin is sitting in my Wallet now just getting bigger than it was back then.

I always thought that Binance is the more secure of the two, but Coinbase offeres some interesting security features with that Crypto Vault, like a 2. person confirming a withdrawal.Something like that would have been handy
I’d like to know that as well. Good news though, the first Dogecoins are back and my girl was able to happily spend the money from every Doge I mined the last 4 month today
Still not sure if I should really get the law enforcement involved in that stuff. Everything related with tech and cops was more than frustrating in the past and I have very little hope that they even understand wtf I’m talking about
@MaVerick - Glad to hear your girlfriend had a good birthday despite the lost to your Binance funds. As for getting law enforcement involved I do not see that going anywhere. They would not even know where to start. This is the only real downside to crypto. Once you loose control of the funds they are gone.
Coinbase does have a "Security Key Device" option that I have not looked into yet. Not sure if Binance has that or not. Still not sure if that would have helped since you had 2FA enabled. That would indicate that they did not access the account by you login. Maybe though the API interface? depending on what options were enabled for API.

So if you are really really serious about this you will have to do some math to see how fast you are submitting shares. Because it’s the total difficulty that matters. So if you are dropping a 2048 difficulty every minute, you would need to do 8 a minute at 256 difficulty to remain EVEN. Generally finding the sweet spot between speed and difficulty size is what you want.

ah ok. i ran 12 hrs at .5 difficulty ended up at about .95 shares a min. now trying .25 for 12 hrs to see if it gets better than 1 share per card/minute
I should add, that prohashing will do this for you and feed you what your card can most handle. thats why when you first start out you will see lower difficulty, then it will ramp up over time once it figures out what your card can handle.
Also keep an eye on restart efficiency. Restarts are required (between jobs I think, correct me if I’m wrong) that take some time to complete. The more efficient your card is, the more time it spends actually mining. Generally, if efficiency tends to be low, go for high diff shares.
yeah right now my shares/min. is .98 with a 99.05 efficiency. ethash @ d=.5 36.37 mh/s pool side. if i drop it to .25 it goes to like 150% efficiency. too bad there’s nothing in the middle like .3333 or something. im running 2x1060s too. need 4 more.
