@steve Do mining with Nicehash profitable right now?

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be, but since we don’t explicitly do work to support Nicehash, you are welcome to perform your own comparison

What is the issue with Graviex? Is it temporary?

bugs

flnvaz · · #93957

hello everyone. I am newer to prohash but not new to mining and after running for a month I was able to determine that my payouts/earnings were roughly 50% less than what they should have been. In order to see this bug you can go to tool, pretend your setting up a new miner and use something you can easily reference such as an antMiner S17+ 73TH/s miner. When you enter all of the information to get your miner online prohash only shows that the miner will earn an Estimated Overall revenue, excluding electric is $3.81 however all of the mining calculator out there clearly show an earning of $9.57 per day in revenue. This is based on nothing other than block difficultties and hashing power. The difference from $3.81 to $9.57 is a crazy spread of more than 50%. Has anyone else noticed this issue? At first I thought maybe it was justt the calculator glitching but then I checked my earnings on 55TH/s of power combibed with 150GH/s of X11 power and I have never made more than $11 in a day. That math is incredibly wrong and it most certainly is not a 2% fee. What gives?

sinsausage · · #93958

hello, I just order 4 antminers, they will be here saturday

I notice this before, This pool is paying much less than they adviced on live profitability section

flnvaz · · #93960

So I swapped my miners over to good ol slush pool and sure enough ive earned $17 in less then $24 with the same exact miners that were only making me $11 over here in 24 hours.... Honestly this feels like a shady pool and theft.

siberianbreaks · · #93961

Another thing, when a coin have a profitability spike prohashing just disable it in order to not paid this spike, im talking about Verge

Unfortunately not - Graviex’s API has poor connectivity and we can’t trade with it or get prices a lot of the time, so coins that are Graviex-exclusive are offline then

mstrozier · · #93966

Afternoon. I noticed on Etash algo, Callisto is showing up as block reward of 420. Isn’t the current block reward for Callisto currently 233.40 not 420?

Could you provide an exact URL to the calculator that shows these figures?

Steve Sokolowski · · #93975

there were some reports of calculators displaying different data, but the issue is on hold because nobody has yet provided a URL of a site that has the problem

We’re looking into this issue, but it’s an extremely complex problem that we can’t reproduce, so I apologize for taking a few days to get back to you

Steve Sokolowski · · #93979

we spent 6 hours revieweing all of the various issues about profitability and have not found any errors in the system, with the system paying more than the referenced sites in all circumstances

Steve Sokolowski · · #93980

in some cases, no referenced sites were provided, so those tickets were closed - feel free to submit tickets about other issues, but there are no known problems with profitability at this time - thanks!

Morning. Not sure if the Callisto Block rewards are correct. They were changed to the correct value from 420 to 233. However this morning I noticed in my feeds it is now reporting 129.6 in prohashing instead of 233.

I’ll ask Chris to investigate and get back to you shortly

Steve Sokolowski · · #93986

Before I do, could you confirm that you’re referring to the actual reward the miners get, and not the full block reward, which for Callisto includes outputs that go to other people?

mstrozier · · #93987

I’m referring to the full block reward. Not fully sure what block reward is reporting under historic blocks found under dashboard. Beside the coin it shows Block reward, is that suppose to match the actual blockchain reward for that coin?

JiveTonto · · #93988

@Steve Sokolowski :  Why were all my yesterdays rewards forfeited?

PolakCrypto · · #93989

why is it not profitable to mine bitcoin gold on your pool? ant that the profits earnings doesnt match what value the coin went up yesterday

PolakCrypto · · #93990

I saw it almost 100% and the value was showing on your live charts, then within a couple hours or so, its like you guys flipped a switch and took the profits away

Steve Sokolowski · · #93991

JiveTonto wrote: @Steve Sokolowski :  Why were all my yesterdays rewards forfeited?
We’re not aware of any forfeitures - but you can submit a support ticket and we’ll be glad to assist!

No. It’s supposed to match whatever we earn. There is additional money in the block reward, but for Callisto that extra money goes to someone else, and therefore isn’t relevant to our calculations.

Ethash on ETC coin seems to have issue. Getting error :ETH:: No new jobs were received for 10 minutes, something is wrong with the pool. Claymore miner then disconnects / reconnects. Mining static Callisto on my other rig working fine. But currently not on the profit switching default.

mstrozier · · #93996

I noticed this @ 8:15pm Eastern time 1/18/2020

mstrozier · · #93997

further tested this. Now setting static coins c=callisto works. c=ethereum works. c=ethereumclassic fails. Not sure what’s up but ETC just cycles through and not hashing.

mstrozier · · #93998

Well seems to be reporting correctly now.

S3KshuN8 · · #94000

ETC had an update recently, that may be the reason...

mstrozier · · #94001

possibly as now it’s disabled from the pool.

Chris is working on this coin; the entire blockchain needs to be redownloaded because it forked, and it will take a day to do that

you cna expect a delay until tomorrow for it to be re-enabled

We’re aware of this issue but have been responding to customers that we have not been able to get TRON to work reliably, so we are only guaranteeing weekly payouts with TRON

Steve Sokolowski · · #94026

you will definitely be paid eventually, but if you want to be paid more frequently, then a different coin would be a better choice

cretinous · · #94028

thanks Steve I will turn off my TRX %

Steve - can you add VET as payout coin? It was in the picklist but now its gone. Thanks
