Let’s see what happens over the next few days, as we release this new software, add new mining servers, and add the new connection

Steve Sokolowski · · #82597

if you’re connected to server 4, then you already are connected to the upgraded software, but there is no way to tell because it’s random

deltasniper73 · · #82598

ok ill come back at the weekend

mycide · · #82600

my stales are still showing over 200, and efficiency is below 90%

cvmines2 · · #82601

Solo mining DGB as an example, is it possible to get the merge mined coins paid in their respective coin?

cvmines2 · · #82602

It looks like they get paid out in DGB as well. I would like to get paid out in Terracoin/Unobtanium/etc for those merge mined profits

Any suggestion for an equihash CPU miner for Windows working with Prohashing? I’m not able to get nheqminer.exe working with Prohashing..

lukasast · · #82604

Hi

lukasast · · #82605

Is there any way to setup L3+ miner to miner Verge ( scrypt ) algo ?

lukasast · · #82606

To mine*

That miner is for NiceHash, so it won’t work here. If you want to do CPU mining, your best bet is to mine Monero, which isn’t available here yet, so I suggest a different pool for CPU mining

Ok, I’ll wait, but I’m using nheqminer.exe on different pool than NiceHash, actually mining on Slushpool with it..

lukasast · · #82609

Im using 6x antminers L3+ is there any way to choise other scypt algo ? Like verge, if yes pleas tell me what is set up, thanks

TheLiZArD · · #82610

Second point is that nheqminer.exe is not considered a virus from the main AntiVirus and so it is safe to be installed in office environments. cpuminer-opt that I use to mine cryptonight (Monero) is considered a virus..

Password aruments should be like this: n=workerXXX a=script c=Verge

GregoryGHarding · · #82615

Steve, i think neoscrypt would be a good next algo to expand into, lots of coins and good profit, at least 12 -15 dollars a day for personal 6-8 gpu miners

hello steve, i want to know what is heppening about GCN pool, when i enter pool address in my miner it says that pool is dead, and what to do?

CSZiggy · · #82651

@chaba90 :  i was able to mine gcoin

CSZiggy · · #82652

not sure what settings you are trying to use.

chaba90 · · #82653

and why is on my miner Dead status?

chaba90 · · #82654

in pasword i wrote c=gcoin and miner says that this link is dead

CB1 · · #82655

where about do you guys dump your $PAC you mine?

CB1 · · #82656

and what times do they hit the exchange? you’ve pretty much taken over mining $PAC now and helping to destroy it’s price, so may as well give up mining and just wait for you guys to dump so i can pick up cheap $PAC

Steve Sokolowski · · #82657

CB1 wrote: and what times do they hit the exchange? you’ve pretty much taken over mining $PAC now and helping to destroy it’s price, so may as well give up mining and just wait for you guys to dump so i can pick up cheap $PAC
the database shows that we’re a net buyer of $PAC

Steve Sokolowski · · #82658

so if the price is declining, that’s caused by someone else

make a new username, both will still go to the IRS so you can pay taxes on all money made at both accounts.

I do have a question. The widget "Account Miner Earnings" per day has 2 bars showing 2 different prices. One on the left is the days earnings? what is the one on the right?

GregoryGHarding · · #82672

energy cost

Hobo01 · · #82673

Ah thanks.

Hobo01 · · #82674

So basically, unless your paying under .06cents in electricity mining is not directly profitable?

Hobo01 · · #82675

At least in PPS, I would suggest that 10% of each block goes to the miner that finds it so that profits are more balanced against the average cost to run. It seems you have a flood of miners in the market who are going to leave if the cost is not sustainable. It would help the mine to encourage miners to stay and the mine would gain an advantage with more hash power.

Hobo01 · · #82676

Yea, I just did the math - your earnings are actually 50% lower than what the average is. 16.4 PH (12.5BTC every 11 days per 10PHs = 28.3BTC per 30 days) $6603 a day @ $7000 for 1 BTC = $4.10 per 10 THs. This pool will not be profitable until it has a minimum 40 PHs. If you want me to bring in the Hash rate, you need to up the rewards. I want a portion of the blocks if I find them.

Forum notification · · #82677

mycide · · #82678

@Steve Sokolowski wanted to share my experience after 6 months+ on PH, yesterday was my first 24h off PH, and it showed instant on my daily profit.litecoinpool.org have payed me out 0.4 ltc+ in 24 hours that is 0.1 more atleast of what i was getting here. I got 0 stales, and my 24h average hashrate is presented as 4.25gh as off PH is saying im having 3.7gh hence the big gap in profits.

mycide · · #82679

the discrepancy is to much to excuse with delays.

Steve Sokolowski · · #82680

Hobo01 wrote: Yea, I just did the math - your earnings are actually 50% lower than what the average is. 16.4 PH (12.5BTC every 11 days per 10PHs = 28.3BTC per 30 days) $6603 a day @ $7000 for 1 BTC = $4.10 per 10 THs. I’m not sure what you’re asking; we’re paying sha-256 miners at the PPS rate which is fair

Steve Sokolowski · · #82681

we aren’t profitable in SHA-256 only because we haven’t found any blocks yet, but we wouldn’t expect to do so yet because not enough work has been done yet

Steve Sokolowski · · #82682

that’s just the way mining works; I’m confused about what you’re suggesting

Steve Sokolowski · · #82684

myicide: I deleted a comment here that made a false accusation. The rules of the forum state that it’s fine to disagree, but this isn’t reddit and stating things without evidence is against the rules

mycide · · #82685

i made a statement about how this pool seem to operate instead of censoring, respond and debunk what i said.

mycide · · #82686

well i disagree to your disagreement. however i recognise this is your playground, and you make the rules. It’s interesting seeing the response.

MitchellMint · · #82687

Morning

Hobo01 · · #82688

Steve Sokolowski - this pool is under performing dramatically. I am showing personally up to 50% descrepency. I am very aware that the number of blocks is dependant factor - but the numbers suggest in SHA256 that they are way too much to ignore.

Hobo01 · · #82689

The numbers need to be calculate off 0.15 kwh usage to give an accurate understanding of the difference. I suggest that you do a found-block stake for the miners who actually find it or a lottery system to help you build a bigger pool 13-16PH is not enough you need 1EH minimum at this point, so you need to attract more miners or SHA256 is not going to survive here.

Hobo01 · · #82690

40-50PH at the very very least will break even.

Hobo01 · · #82691

I will keep watching as you do have nice features - but honestly. Not worth mining here it’s a profit loss - I rather take the risk solo than contribute. I can code all the same features.

MitchellMint · · #82692

Is there anyway we can find out how much hash SHA256 is needed to compete?

CSZiggy · · #82693

Hobo01 wrote: At least in PPS, I would suggest that 10% of each block goes to the miner that finds it so that profits are more balanced against the average cost to run. but if 10% of the found blocks went to the finder, then the rest of the pool has less to split so less payouts for everyone else not finding blocks all the time.

Steve Sokolowski · · #82694

Hobo01 wrote: I will keep watching as you do have nice features - but honestly. Not worth mining here it’s a profit loss - I rather take the risk solo than contribute. I can code all the same features.
the amount of hashrate isn’t related to how much miners make

Steve Sokolowski · · #82695

Hobo01 wrote: I will keep watching as you do have nice features - but honestly. Not worth mining here it’s a profit loss - I rather take the risk solo than contribute. I can code all the same features.
I think there’s something that’s related to your personal configuration that you need to investigate, because we’re not seeing numbers like that here

Anyone else having a horrible efficiency rate?

bking · · #82698

Was down to close to 75% at one point. It’s usually 100%

spauk · · #82699

i’m getting about 6% rejects over the past week, up to 6.5-8.7% on smaller miners

mycide · · #82700

spauk ask one of the brothers, they will say its because of capacity issues, and that they are working on fixing it but there’s delays, then it get fixed, then they put some new stuff in, things go back to bad, ask the brothers, and rinse repeat. why the efficiency has to tank it all so often here is annoying, but that is the asnwer you get, time and again. and STEVE hashrate DO tell you how much you make, what kind of silly answer is that, saying ur hashrate does not effect ur earnings.
