Basara · · #54609

Do you realize this entire industry is speculative and demanding them to risk their house and family viability as you need some hashes?

Steve Sokolowski · · #54610

Basara wrote: Steve, honest question.. how many hours of sleep do you get?
6.5

Steve Sokolowski · · #54611

I never sacrifice sleep

Basara · · #54612

6.5 isn’t enough imo

Steve Sokolowski · · #54613

I wake up when I wake up, which is at 6:30 every day after falling asleep around midnight

Steve Sokolowski · · #54614

as to the lawyer issues, I understand your view, but we’re not going to risk already having made a lot of money in ETH just to be richer unless we can protect our assets

Steve Sokolowski · · #54615

fortunately, the lawyer figured out how to do that, so we moved forward

Basara · · #54616

good deal, do you plan to delve into gpu mining or have a general roadmap?

Steve Sokolowski · · #54617

Basara wrote: good deal, do you plan to delve into gpu mining or have a general roadmap?
We want to get into ETH and ZEC

Steve Sokolowski · · #54618

as to some of the other algorithms, we ran the calculations and couldn’t see a way to profitability in that

Steve Sokolowski · · #54619

there isn’t enough money in those algorithms

Basara · · #54620

how about monero xD

Basara · · #54621

monero is 9 vs zcash 19 on coinmarketcap

Steve Sokolowski · · #54622

the next coin will be bitcoins

Steve Sokolowski · · #54623

then we’ll move onto those

Basara · · #54624

If you had it any other way it would be a silly direction to advance the company.

Basara · · #54625

good calls steve

Basara · · #54626

Please do consider monero though as it’s more AMD gpu friendly and it has held its price consistently

ProHasher1111 · · #54627

I’m showing offline again.....

ProHasher1111 · · #54628

was running good earlier

ProHasher1111 · · #54629

No live worker status

miles888 · · #54630

Hey guys, could ya help a friend in a time of need? It seems a hash board failed on my L3+ but I can’t determine why. When it boots with that board connected it overloads the psu and shuts down. Anyone had this happen?

ZiGen · · #54631

Basara wrote: Do you realize this entire industry is speculative and demanding them to risk their house and family viability as you need some hashes?
Hey buddy ...First - I an NOT demanding anything from anybody ...Second ...They are bright young man, ADULTS and they are making theit OWN desicions ...I am NOT their father ar relative to have any demands... Third - I am happy to see Sokolowski’s to work very hard to implement their decisions very quick and aggresive, and to go in the right direction ...which is close to my proposal(s) back in time ...That’s ALL.

ProHasher1111 · · #54632

could be a bad PSU, have you tried another power supply?

3Moose · · #54633

Today is my first day back in a bit...

3Moose · · #54634

does the d field no longer work?

miles888 · · #54635

Yup, atx 1050 and apw3++ do the same thing. Just this board

3Moose · · #54636

I could read about it via the forums... but thought someone could just give me the skinny.

ProHasher1111 · · #54637

reading is actually good for the brain, as long as it’s the right information.

ProHasher1111 · · #54638

lol just kidding

ProHasher1111 · · #54639

I don’t know what else it could be

miles888 · · #54640

Not sure if it is truly dead or a fixable short on the board somewhere. Have you ever replaced a part under warranty?

miles888 · · #54641

I can’t get permission from bitmain to open it and send them the hash board

ZiGen · · #54642

Average mining efficiency - 100% ...SUPER !... :D

MrHollowPoints · · #54645

Hey, my miner has been on PH for a little while now today but I am showing no worker connected

MrHollowPoints · · #54646

Please assist

pulpitrocktech · · #54647

remove power from boards until you find the one making it fuck up, then you would have atleast some hashing power

ZiGen · · #54648

Steve Sokolowski wrote: has started a new topic: Variable difficulty restrictions relaxed
Very nice ...Thanks, Steve & Chris ...

MrHollowPoints · · #54649

Anyone have the same issue?

macsheadroom · · #54650

follow there repair ticket system, it took me 3 weeks to get 1 board replaced a month ago. Sent to califorina depot. They just wanted the board so was permission enough for me.

MrHollowPoints · · #54651

Okay, the worker popped in there

djliss · · #54652

miners submitting shares but not showing on the dashboard

It actually wan’t - we just needed to get out of our other commitments so we had time to do it

djliss · · #54654

@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> any ideas steve?

GIRTAB · · #54655

That did it Steve. I no longer am seeing the constant pool switching due to dead status connection.

djliss · · #54656

@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> ok there showing up now lol, no need to worry lol

MrHollowPoints · · #54657

My worker is gone from the dashboard again

MrHollowPoints · · #54658

Wth

MrHollowPoints wrote: My worker is gone from the dashboard again
it looks like the diff is sky high and you only see the miner when it submits a share. I can’t seem to find what the Static difficulty limit is right now.

djliss · · #54660

yeah mine gone again too, but it is submitting and balance is going up, i’ll worry about it tomorrow off to bed now

djliss · · #54661

and back again lol

ZiGen · · #54662

Steve, did you relax the STATIC difficulty ... or just the VarDiff ?

djliss · · #54663

ZiGen wrote: Steve, did you relax the STATIC difficulty ... or just the VarDiff ?
looks like vardiff too, my gridseeds are @ 4k diff

djliss · · #54664

4096 to be exact lol

djliss wrote:

Looks like VarDiff ONLY ...STATIC "d=???" is NOT reacting if less than 65k

ZiGen · · #54666

.and I don’t want my miner sitting 30 minute s at 524k ... ;)

fallingcurtain · · #54667

Hey guys big news here on my side. I just found a sexcoin block!

fallingcurtain · · #54668

Looks like its official. NH got taken for all the bitcoin. Im one of the many victims

ZiGen · · #54669

Nice ...should we get a cut ? ...

3Moose · · #54670

ZiGen wrote: .and I don’t want my miner sitting 30 minute s at 524k ... ;)
i agree... that’s nuts high. I am having the same issue.

3Moose · · #54671

fallingcurtain wrote: Looks like its official. NH got taken for all the bitcoin. Im one of the many victims
I am not sure we are victims yet... THEY were taken... I’m not assuming I socialize their poor security. They would not back me if my account for hacked for not having the token enabled.

ZiGen · · #54672

Going back to "d=65536" ... 8-)

kake · · #54673

hi all is well at PH? I need to switch my miners back here...

MrHollowPoints · · #54674

I am a NH victim as well

MrHollowPoints · · #54675

Willing to go find who did this as well and deliver a boot up their asses

Splinter · · #54676

I think is not possible to set d= anymore... since last update

ZiGen · · #54677

kake · · #54678

my miner is hashing at PH but I don’t see the miner on the website’s "Live Worker Status"?

Splinter · · #54679

Last time I tried to set d= my miners keep disconnecting e re-connecting in infinite loop

Splinter · · #54680

before the update I was able to set d= without any problems

3Moose · · #54681

I have 30 workers not showing up...

3Moose · · #54682

that’s not true... just 1 of 30 is showing up.... but it looks like shares are showing up in the payments.... This is the kind of stuff that drives me nut.

jess_1 · · #54683

it seems to me like earnings took a nose dive today around noon... can anyone else confirm this

Splinter · · #54684

Today is really bad here in terms of profit

The LTC network went up 30% in difficulty

Splinter · · #54687

Steve, why I can’t set d= anymore?

jess_1 · · #54688

is this due to the bitconnectcoin troubles? is ph planning to re-enter the coin’s network anytime soon?

Splinter · · #54689

What bitconnectcoin troubles?

pulpitrocktech · · #54690

AppleMiner · · #54691

steve u there?

fallingcurtain · · #54692

Last night at 9:30 i requested my withdraw from NH. it didnt go through but the 62million sure took off without a holding period.

fallingcurtain · · #54693

Not a good day in crypto land

deathlessdd · · #54694

glad i stopped using NH

Steve Sokolowski · · #54696

I haven’t heard of anyone having issues with this

Steve Sokolowski · · #54697

are you sure it’s not an issue with your miners?

Steve Sokolowski · · #54698

jess_1 wrote: is this due to the bitconnectcoin troubles? is ph planning to re-enter the coin’s network anytime soon?
If we can gain 25% of LTC, or about 12 TH/s, then we can orphan the attacker’s blocks and restore the network

i can’t set below d=65536 and even that has been rejected a few times.

Steve Sokolowski · · #54700

but only if we become that large

Steve Sokolowski · · #54701

oh, yes, d currently can’t be set below that

Steve Sokolowski · · #54702

only variable difficulty was lowered, static difficulty restrictions are still in effect for now

3Moose · · #54703

for some crazy reason, one miner is not accepting d=65536 and its defaulting to 500K or something like that....

I just think that miner wants a vacation.

Steve Sokolowski · · #54705

we are very worried about the price of bitcoins right now and may need to do a huge dump of LTC

Steve Sokolowski · · #54706

this price rise could be catastrophic

Steve Sokolowski · · #54707

we have been mining LTC and people want BTC

Steve Sokolowski · · #54708

when BTC goes up like this we take huge losses

Steve Sokolowski · · #54709

let’s hope there’s a crash
