I thought the theoretical max was 7

I have a question for you, not sure if this is the right place to put it, but here goes. I saved several hard drives with the entire Bitcoin Blockchain on them pre-fork July 26th to be exact. My question is: If i want to fork one of these to the Bitcoin Cash fork, how would I go about that?
GAWminer27 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 09:43 PM UTC · #29914
Can you write up how to do it in the forums section?
lhfx21 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 09:52 PM UTC · #29915
anyone tried multipool.us and manual forex?
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:03 PM UTC · #29916
Hi. I am a new minor. I have 1 L#+ rig and was wondering on average daily litecoin to expext. Thanks
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:15 PM UTC · #29919
1 x L3 between $15-$21 depends on the day
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #29920
Is that if I am mining other currencies and converting to Litecoin or just mining for Litecoin by itself
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:20 PM UTC · #29921
mining LTC along u won’t get that much
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:21 PM UTC · #29923
I thought it was more like 50 a day
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:21 PM UTC · #29925
u can see on the top left corner the Scrypt payout figure, that the live figure now but it changes
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:23 PM UTC · #29926
What does that mean scrypt mean. Im sorry I’m new to this
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:25 PM UTC · #29928
so what does the amount mean I see it always changes
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:25 PM UTC · #29929
that is per MH pay out rate
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:25 PM UTC · #29930
sorry I sound like an idiot
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #29931
so L3@ 500Mh just multiply that with 3.47
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #29932
and divide it by a 100 to get your dollar figure
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #29933
and that is daily rate I see
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:27 PM UTC · #29935
in fact i just multiply that figure by 5
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:27 PM UTC · #29936
17.00 a day. thaks that was very helpful
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:28 PM UTC · #29937
does the scrypt ever pay like 8 to 10 dollars
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:30 PM UTC · #29938
sometimes u can see it goes up to 6 or 7 cents
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:31 PM UTC · #29939
but on a really bad day, sometimes it has gone as low as 2.6 cents
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:32 PM UTC · #29940
on the main page, u can see daily average history
medusa · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:33 PM UTC · #29941
Does anyone know why it says "Invalid date Invalid date" in the Live Balances box, and how can I fix that?
medusa · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:37 PM UTC · #29947
All be, that fixed it...lol thanks @ dsldsl999
Jules9 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:39 PM UTC · #29948
one more Question . Say Litecoin goes to 100 a coin does that affect scrypt rate
centar · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:40 PM UTC · #29949
anyone hashrate showing extremely low?
centar · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:41 PM UTC · #29950
something doesn’t seem right with the stats right now
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:47 PM UTC · #29952
if the value of coins goes up it will help and doesn’t have to be LTC but the difficulties of coins and number of miners also affect payout
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:49 PM UTC · #29954
if you are new I assume you just got your L3+ so your cost is not too bad. Current rate your ROI is probably around 3 months
Splinter · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:49 PM UTC · #29956
This pool isn’t the best option these days... what’s going on, guys?! :/ Even nicehash is more profitable atm
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:51 PM UTC · #29957
today’s payout has not been too good here I’ve to say
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:51 PM UTC · #29958
i’ve to see how the day ends
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:52 PM UTC · #29959
as this pool time zone is a few hours behind so I never really know when the day finish
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:55 PM UTC · #29960
there was some downtime earlier so it doesn’t really help. But I made around $8 on nicehash (2nd pool) during that.
dsldsl999 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 10:57 PM UTC · #29961
btw, for L3+ remember to use d=131072 in password field
Splinter · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:04 PM UTC · #29962
Why should I use d=131072 in password field for L3+
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:10 PM UTC · #29964
you dont have to, but sometimes it helps with running them smoother, tweaking it a bit. bt sometimes they run better without.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:11 PM UTC · #29965
if you dont use the D= setting, the pool does a varrdiff on your difficulty
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:11 PM UTC · #29966
if you have the L3+ and use 131K you can get up to 15% more profits than not using any D= setting
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:12 PM UTC · #29967
even the D=32K and 64K settings on the L3+ were 8-1-% better than no D= setting at all ON THE L3+ miners
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:12 PM UTC · #29969
hmm, didnt do such thourogh calculations, but ill take your word for it. currently im running with d=
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:13 PM UTC · #29971
had 2 miners use each setting and rotated the settings through the miner pairs
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:14 PM UTC · #29972
to rule out any superstar or crappy miners as a defunct to the data
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:14 PM UTC · #29973
it was consistantly, d= null, and D=131074 as the low and high points, 15% between them
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:14 PM UTC · #29974
sounds reasonable, just the pool mood that vary a lot
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:15 PM UTC · #29975
i guess other pools have more ports so they can do vardiff on 1 port and different levels of hash/difficulty on differnt ports
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:15 PM UTC · #29976
so they can assign differnt levels of network, hash and coins to be mined by certain power groups
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:16 PM UTC · #29977
so on other pools, the port you pick determins the difficulty, here you have to specifiy it manually is all
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:16 PM UTC · #29978
@Jules Gratz on getting a miner. Hope you enjoy READING A LOT.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:18 PM UTC · #29979
Drugs! What'd they give you? Thorazine? Haldol? How much? Learn your drugs — know your doses. It's elementary...
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:19 PM UTC · #29980
used cgminer back on my graphic cards before buying the Titans, then basically onlt been on litecoinpool.org for years machine ticking away without any supervision basically, and almost no fails on their pool for all duration.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:19 PM UTC · #29981
before the explosion on the market like feburary on
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:19 PM UTC · #29982
you could mine on any pool anywhere
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:20 PM UTC · #29983
and it was like 50 coins a day, 55 a day, made no real diff, they were all shittily worthless
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:20 PM UTC · #29984
LTC was a breeze for years
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:20 PM UTC · #29985
not much profit but no competetion to the titans
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:20 PM UTC · #29987
2.1 of 3 titans meshed together
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:21 PM UTC · #29988
got one running in the house now for the winter, keeps it cozy, and noise level is tolerable.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:21 PM UTC · #29989
yeah but that electric is higher than it needs to be
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:21 PM UTC · #29990
id rather pop a L3 in the living room, turn the fan on it down to 50 and use it as a space heater
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:22 PM UTC · #29991
i OC,d the dies that could handle it and underclocked the ones that kept dying. got it to run smooth and stable in temps on dies over 95 degree celcius ^^
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #29992
this heat wave past 2 weeks, I had them just running in the place open aired uncooled
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #29993
i’m at 1050watts at 330mh/s
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #29994
and it was hitting 90+ outside so I just turned them off the past 2 weeks
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:24 PM UTC · #29996
so yeah that one goes to the step brother, make him run it and keep it going
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:24 PM UTC · #29997
and he can have all that free heat he wants
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:24 PM UTC · #29999
2 controllers 10 cubes total
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:25 PM UTC · #30000
but im keeping the 2 dead cubes as soveniers
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:25 PM UTC · #30001
and ill play with the pi at some point
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:25 PM UTC · #30002
im running my L3+s at 555Mh/s nice and stable low or no HW errors could prob push it more with ease, but not worth the risk just yet
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:26 PM UTC · #30003
temp in the 60’s celcius
dog1965 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:26 PM UTC · #30004
keep those fans dusted out antminer fans hate dust they will event... short out and your miner will shut down or you will burn up your pci-e connectors.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:27 PM UTC · #30005
has anyone been able to putty into their L3+?
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:27 PM UTC · #30006
dog1965 bad experience? i had no problems so far.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:28 PM UTC · #30007
has happened to me so many times always check your fans sometimes the fan connector gets hot thats how you know the fans are going bad.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:29 PM UTC · #30009
if your miner dont mine make sure both fans are good.
mycide · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:29 PM UTC · #30010
ill make sure to order a few replacements then, just as i got PSU
dog1965 · Fri Sep 22, 2017 11:29 PM UTC · #30011
otherwise it will mine and shut down after 10 minutes.
