JustAnotherPLT · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:19 PM UTC · #25818
Just makes one nervous watching that market dip as much as it did. If this was U.S. stocks this would throw us into a economical panic.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:19 PM UTC · #25821

SpacedCowboy · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:22 PM UTC · #25838
@hashingpro,@dog1965: good point. Makes a change for the server to be down and the website up...
kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:22 PM UTC · #25839
@hash @just it doesnt make me feel that bad because a few days before it was at 4700 so 3700 was a good deal for me
dog1965 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #25840
its a proccess but you can restore it.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #25841

kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:24 PM UTC · #25844

hashingpro · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:24 PM UTC · #25845

dog1965 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:25 PM UTC · #25846

kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:25 PM UTC · #25847

kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:26 PM UTC · #25848

dog1965 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:26 PM UTC · #25850
you can build your own gpu mining rig for alt less.
kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:27 PM UTC · #25852
what do u guys do when u find blocks? do you use the address and point the miner that way?
kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:28 PM UTC · #25853
i’ve found 2 in 3 days and it makes me sad i dont even get a start like a little kid lol
halfdime · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:29 PM UTC · #25854

tomos81 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:30 PM UTC · #25855

halfdime · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:30 PM UTC · #25856
this pool is always down, but good community
JustAnotherPLT · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:35 PM UTC · #25857
I’m excited for the good community. It’s nice to have understanding people willing to help others stumble through this much like then did at one time.
JustAnotherPLT · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:35 PM UTC · #25858
But YouTube really is a game changer. Amazing what you can do without hiring something out around the house by watching YouTube
mmfiore · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:37 PM UTC · #25859
How can there be anybody connected here and hashing when the pool is completely down? Seems odd.
may142012 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:42 PM UTC · #25862
this may be a stupid question but, are those bitcoins and alt-coins infinite to mine or is there a limit?
halfdime · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:46 PM UTC · #25864
bitcoin is limited to 21 million coins, the last one will be mined in about 100 years
halfdime · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:46 PM UTC · #25865
and alot of those coins are lost
may142012 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #25866
What’s about some alt coins like Dash?
halfdime · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #25867
dont know about dash, you should google
may142012 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:48 PM UTC · #25868
Hey, if i put this pass in, they will be working on Dash and other coins, right? n=miner1 c=Dash c=Cannabiscoin
platoday · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:50 PM UTC · #25869
my miner shows 0 efficiency!
JustAnotherPLT · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:51 PM UTC · #25871
So first night with the L3+, fan speed keeps changing, why is that?
may142012 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:52 PM UTC · #25873
Did you spend an hour to let it rest and clean dust from the fans?
JustAnotherPLT · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:52 PM UTC · #25874
yea I understand that, but why isn’t the processing consistent?
may142012 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:53 PM UTC · #25876
I don’t know maybe you should contact Bitman’s support
sassoshots · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:56 PM UTC · #25877
lol dam this chat is getting popular
JustAnotherPLT · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:56 PM UTC · #25879
Not worried about it, it’s doing its thing.
kleissen86 · Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:59 PM UTC · #25881
what temps are they running? i’ve tried to keep mine between 49-50 fan on auto and it gets kind of quiet
sassoshots · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:00 AM UTC · #25882
@JustAnotherPLT : the fan adjusts with the temperature
JustAnotherPLT · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:14 AM UTC · #25883
Thank you guys, I understand the relationship between the two. Just trying to figure out why the temperature would change. Was thinking the hash would be consistent. Anyways the temps are running 64, 59, 61, 57 at the temp(chip). Fan has settled down to a constant now.
JustAnotherPLT · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:15 AM UTC · #25885
Please share advice if I should spool it back to stock.
kleissen86 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:16 AM UTC · #25886
temp goes up and down depending on how much power the device is consuming, the harder it works the more it consumes the more heat. From overclocking exp lol u can’t never be too cool
kleissen86 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:17 AM UTC · #25888
it would shutdown at 80, you are running avg 62 I would not overclock something like that.
JustAnotherPLT · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:18 AM UTC · #25889
Ok, I’ll spool it back to stock then
kleissen86 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:18 AM UTC · #25890
This is an expensive equipment lol, you can go from earning ur money back in 5-11 months if everything goes well or fuck it up and get nothing for months
kleissen86 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:20 AM UTC · #25892
also think about the life of the components, not to say that there is no change it could die at any moment but running any computer device as cold ass possible will let it last longer and perform better
kleissen86 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:22 AM UTC · #25894
take ur own pc, run a benchmark with the room hot and let ir rise the temp. then run another one with the room at 60 or even try to put it in front of the ac, you would get a better result
kleissen86 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 12:22 AM UTC · #25895
if u overclock and it heats up it would just hang up.
