the problem you run into is when the assumption for what your machine can accomplish doesn’t align with what it’s assigned, its performance can vary wildly (up or down) causing effective hashrate to plummet or perform higher than anticipated, usually averaging lower than the rated performance
lhfx21 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:41 PM UTC · #34422
yes I understand that thanks, but why 131K for the L3+
Maxiimos · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:42 PM UTC · #34424
that is the value that has been settled after testing to be a best fit for PH
Maxiimos · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:43 PM UTC · #34427
it can be any value that’s divisible by 1024
zafar177 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:44 PM UTC · #34429
Someone told me to use 131074...realised that was wrong only now
Maxiimos · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #34430
no problem, I think that error has been made quite a few times here lol
mmfiore · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #34431
Anybody getting error messages in Live Worker Status area?
Maxiimos · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #34432
I have an error as well, because it says my miner name was a duplicate, does yours say this also?
mmfiore · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:48 PM UTC · #34433
Yes same error on all my workers.
mmfiore · Thu Sep 28, 2017 08:50 PM UTC · #34434
They should change the name from pro hashing to Keystone Cops Hashing
Maxiimos · Thu Sep 28, 2017 09:00 PM UTC · #34435
I think as long as it’s unique among all miners it won’t give an error
cryptogain · Thu Sep 28, 2017 09:18 PM UTC · #34437
I’m trying to use the c= but it shows dead
cryptogain · Thu Sep 28, 2017 09:33 PM UTC · #34442
I’m trying to use c= but as soon I’m put it show me dead

cryptogain · Thu Sep 28, 2017 09:44 PM UTC · #34447
Not even with the m=...c=.... showed dead
cryptogain · Thu Sep 28, 2017 09:45 PM UTC · #34451
It showed online with 12 miners assigned

Is block ’orphaned not credited’ a normal occurrence for solo mining?
zafar177 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:08 PM UTC · #34454
So far I have 2 not credited orphan blocks for solo mining goldcoin
zafar177 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:11 PM UTC · #34455
I used the argueme g=off for solo mining is that correct?
mycide · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #34456
m=solo is what i use for solo
mycide · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:18 PM UTC · #34457
dont know what g=off does maybe it works aswell?
cryptogain · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:19 PM UTC · #34459
When I solo mining they paid on the coin I’m solo mining?
mycide · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:20 PM UTC · #34462
how can one command work better? it does a different thing?
zafar177 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:22 PM UTC · #34466
Let me clarify I use g=off as well as m=solo
mycide · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:22 PM UTC · #34467
something about losing potential stale merge mined blocks, i read from GregoryHarding
zafar177 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:23 PM UTC · #34468
Why are my orphaned blocks not credited?
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:23 PM UTC · #34469
yes if you are in the pool, you do not want to use G it will lower your profits
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #34470
it will hold onto stale merged mining so it can complete the main block it was working on
mycide · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #34471
seems to be a n argument mostly cloudmining users would use, u’r cloudmining? no, i got ur own rigs, right?
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #34472
when you are solo mining thats EXACTLY what you DO want
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #34473
to NOT toss out the middle of the work on the BCC block you are working, to start to work on a .001 cent merged mining coin share instead.
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:25 PM UTC · #34475
if they arent confirmed you lost them and no credit.
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #34477
no you are doing it correctly
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:26 PM UTC · #34478
the coin you are on might be hosed
hashingpro · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:27 PM UTC · #34480

@3moose I wondered that also man
zafar177 · Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:29 PM UTC · #34488
