Or did it come back and we are acting like there wasn’t anything to see here? ;P

My method is super scientific... I listened to all the suggestions here and tested one on each miner, then I had the "feeling" that 131074 was better at the moment. Thanks for your opinions and tips about that :)

speraves · · #33822

You should write up a white paper on that. Very informative ;)

he will never tell you his uyea I said it.

halan · · #33824

Will the speed to find the block?

pumaro · · #33825

so no fix yet?

dopatrick · · #33826

someone please help. how do i point my miner to mine

hashingpro · · #33827

I quote dog1965 from the forums...ah come on share your results help a fellow miner out stop being greedy share your info.

dopatrick · · #33828

how do i mine on this site. i click the prohashing.com:3333 and it does pull up a web site.

hashingpro · · #33829

what miner do you have?

dopatrick · · #33830

im using 2 nvidia 1080

hashingpro · · #33831

sorry cant help there, did you search the forums for info on GPU mining

dopatrick · · #33832

so is my son

hashingpro · · #33833

someone might have asked and gotten answers in there

dopatrick · · #33834

nope. ah so this is for say the antminer L3+ and D3 ?

dopatrick · · #33835

and s9 ect.....

hashingpro · · #33836

no its for all

hashingpro · · #33837

there is the HELP section on the main page

hashingpro · · #33838

it shuold have some info on getting a miner pointed here to GPU mine, i just am not knowledgable on that, sorry

dopatrick · · #33839

ok thanks. is there a software to run like Nicehash?

hashingpro · · #33840

i dont think its rdminer. Maybe CGminer?

hashingpro · · #33841

but may have to be a certain version number higher

hashingpro · · #33842

so check the forums and help pages for some more info, see what they require and use.

dopatrick · · #33843

my sons and i computer are the same with 2 - 1080 geforce and i7 and together were making 10.35 a day

hashingpro · · #33844

guessing on etherums?

hashingpro · · #33845

what do you mine or where do you mine to make 10.35 a day?

dopatrick · · #33846

im not sure is says alot of differnet things, im new. doing tests. but i do know its been from 9 to 11 dollas every day for 6 days and is mines the most profitable coin auto and turns into bitcoin

hashingpro · · #33847

have you plugged each system into a watt meter to find out how much juice its pulling to run 2 cards?

hashingpro · · #33848

and calculated how much electricty its costing to produce the profits?

hashingpro · · #33849

I mean no sense in making 10.30 if you are paying 11 a day in electric right?

dopatrick · · #33850

Nicehash. my son and i both have 2 - nvidia 1080 ( not ti ) i7 processor 4Ghz with 32 megs of ram and we both do from 4.50 ish to 5.65 a day. so combine that..

dopatrick · · #33851

yes. both cards are pull with my computer running full watts and i have lighted led case and fans about 435 watt sons abouth the same

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33852

hey guys

hashingpro · · #33853

at full hash? 435 on 2 1080 cards?

dopatrick · · #33854

no watts

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33855

hey i got a question about L3+s

hashingpro · · #33856

yeah im surprised when they spin up you can run 2 1080 cards on just 435 watts of power

hashingpro · · #33857

sup saw

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33858

on miner status tab..

dopatrick · · #33859

how do i figure hash? iy changes the hash power from GB ot TB to something else depending on what it mines

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33860

under "Antminer"

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33861

whats HW mean?

hashingpro · · #33862

thats why im asking under full load and hashing its just 435 power to run it, while hashing full speed?

hashingpro · · #33863

HardWare errors

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33864

meh

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33865

so youw ant those numbers low or zero

hashingpro · · #33866

everyone gets them dont fret

hashingpro · · #33867

ideally yes

hashingpro · · #33868

if you are OCing and you start to see a ton at a time

hashingpro · · #33869

you may not want to OC or its too late

dopatrick · · #33870

all i know is im pulling less than 3 amp on my computer when running and my sons too. were paying .06 cents a kilo for elec.

hashingpro · · #33871

EU?

dopatrick · · #33872

USA

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33873

Ok . I have the one miner OC to 400

hashingpro · · #33874

and you ran it through a watt meter Dopa while it was full hash and got the watt reading?

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33875

is 44 and 24 HW error normal?

dopatrick · · #33876

it says if you use thet profitability calculator in Nicehash and sellect on 1080 and change power to .06 im making 2.67 a day x 2 = 5.44 plus my CPU makes around .50

hashingpro · · #33877

in what time frame saw, what is reset uptime since last reset or apply

hashingpro · · #33878

doa you soo cannot go on that

hashingpro · · #33879

that is like the menu price for NOW

hashingpro · · #33880

but sadly prices change all day, so in an hour its a lower price and an hour later a higher price

hashingpro · · #33881

but you cant go to NH look at the now price and go thats all me X 24 hours

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33882

25 HW in 8.5 hours

hashingpro · · #33883

its not a 'contract'

hashingpro · · #33884

saw thats completely fine

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33885

48 HW in 6hrs on another miner

hashingpro · · #33886

if you had 25 in 15 mins, then worry

dopatrick · · #33887

true. there calculator is a little off. but it calculats the current market as you change values. its been close. one sec. let me go look at my sons computer. mine is idle cuz im on here. hold please

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33888

48 on the one thats OCed to 400

hashingpro · · #33889

when you OC you have to find the spot where the errors are the lowest

hashingpro · · #33890

if you OC and the temp spikes or the HW errors mount up fast, you went too far

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33891

roger that

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33892

ive noticed no big temp changes

dopatrick · · #33893

ok. based on the wattage my sons computer is running at, im paying 1.85 a day to run his computer. but hes making anywhere from 4.65 to 5.15 right now. last night it hit 7 dollars. mine runs a bit fast cuz my cards are a from a better manufacture and work better i guess

hashingpro · · #33894

just so you know what the expenses will be

dopatrick · · #33895

but were also using our cpu so its added in too.

hashingpro · · #33896

plus possibly wearing out the video cards sooner than expected

dopatrick · · #33897

yeah i know. yes true. these are only tests. ive proven to my wife we have made over a 100 profit in just a week after electric bill. im fixxing to buy 4 D3 and 4 - L3+

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33898

@dopatrick :  nice :) good call

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33899

@dopatrick :  over time mining will be very profitable imo... its has always been profitable imo lol

hashingpro · · #33900

OK now we are talking, the asics are a crap ton easier to get on the pools with and mine imho

hashingpro · · #33901

you just fill in 3 lines and click apply

dopatrick · · #33902

cload mining takes over a 10 months or so to recover your expenses and they are only good for 1 to 2 years. the life time contracts build even slow on envestment

hashingpro · · #33903

doing the GPU config with all the settings in a script is just a PITA to do anymore

hashingpro · · #33904

or instead of buying miners buy the hash power from nicehash and use that to mine keep the coins

hashingpro · · #33905

dopa guessing you figured out power and cooling and everything for 8 units.

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33906

1k watts produces roughly 4k BTUs

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33907

they are some heat monsters lol

hashingpro · · #33908

no

hashingpro · · #33909

overclocked toasters are heat monsters

hashingpro · · #33910

mine are nice and cool thanks

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33911

lol

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33912

true...

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33913

but OCed = more power consumption lol

hashingpro · · #33914

yeah it is

hashingpro · · #33915

wasted to make more heat

hashingpro · · #33916

im not saying you cant rev the corvette up to 120, im just saying it wont get the gas milage

dopatrick · · #33917

heres what all my test have concluded. with a 6 gpu rige rx580 it take 14 months to recover from your expenses, not counting ellectric. just to pay for equipment 1080ti a couple months more but with twice the returns so you make money faster. D3, L3+ if you buy them from bitmain in china or bitmasters in the usa( which are a little higher) you can have each machine paid for inside 2 months thats counting thet electric bill. then you raking up. we are going off several trusted people we know....

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33918

ya :|

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33919

my miners will heat my house this winter :)
