yep the L3+ does restart sometimes, im noticing the rig with higher HW error seem to restart more frequently. also even if they all show full hashing speed 500+ in antminer ui, the rigs showing sub 500 in prohashing website also have tendencyto restart more often in degree of how much less they work they restart more often.
@nimbus how did you get them to send a new one? because i want to get new hashboard but they want me to send it in.. i want a new one before i send old one in..
put a shed on your backyard. renting space or letting someone else run them.. or not running them for 25% of the day is a real waste of potential profit.
@Jalapan if you read bitmains warranty and return policy you would know that you have to send your board to them first. they will then repair or replace. they will most likely not send you anything before they recieve your claimed faulty piece.
btw, its not like its going to matter if ur machine breaks ur pretty much fucked for the duration of downtime, it will not be compensated and its not any speed records broken expediting the service. So expect weeks or a month or more downtime of unit need of service.
@mycide : if broke usually only the power supply (which you should have one as a back up), if the board then usually just 1 of them means you running total - 1 board
ofc u can run rig without all boards, but the downtime of the unit or part of unit will not be compensated and most likely will be loast money, consider that diff prob will go up in one month, it could be a substantial amount, and warrant is only what, 6 months.
downtime is not acceptable form my point of view. i ran my titans since 2014 without a hitch only time off during a handful poweroutages during this years, and maybe another handful or router restarts.
actually had them disconnected the longest ever few days ago. powered them of in the morning and didnt get it back until the evening, had the clean them running some dies at 98 degree celcius ^^ but after some high compression cleaning it purrs like a kitten sub 70 degrees now
hah, i didnt know that, but i wonder, rate of usage of liquid nitrogen is prob not negligable, so i dont know but i assume its not very cheap. or easy to handle, manual feeding system for L3+ might be a bit unsafe to run ^^ if you could set it up in a closed automatic system then maybe... would be interesting see if its even possible.
Usually yes, or at least you could before - the pool is not running well now for weeks and nicehash doesnt work well at all with prohashing, give it a try, but if you see periods with huge amounts of stale shares, it means the problem is still there and it wont be profitable
@ Jalapan I just spoke to customer service and they said open a repair ticket then i opened one and they sent me a new CB . try to speak with customer service
Yes 131 im using aswell I’m really happy so far with our pool, have had a few days of low efficiency and stale shares but has been runming very well last few days and even on those high stale days still made 43$ usd
Mining bitconnectcoin on bitconnectpool is not going to be very profitable. They have 5 GH/s and prohash has 1500 GH/s That pool will rarely solve a block.
