This problem has been resolved. The cause of the problem was that Chris accidentally released the multiple algorithm fork of the website, which isn’t working yet. Thanks for your patience.
Thanks for the report. Looks like the server that handles that crashed. No money was lost, and the auto-restart program took care of it before we got to it. We’ll try to figure out why later.
I restarted the OS of the mining server. It looks like that fixed the issue with the thousands of connections. I have also been mining GameCredits solo with my miner for the past 15 minutes with no disconnections.

Good to hear.. I was thinking about all the broken coins that miners abandon..We have so much script hash power now enough we could prob keep most all them alive now
The main issue is that we have 0 peers for some of the coins. This is odd because every coin we offer is listed on an exchange, so the exchanges should provide at least one peer. I have tried contacting all the exchanges, and unfortunately, all of them refuse to give us the IP address of their own node so that we can connect and revive the networks. It's some security precaution of theirs, which seems silly to me.
I think the issue was that we were indexing the coin and that was causing the client to respond slowly. When we can’t obtain a block template due to the coin responding slowly, that disconnects all solo miners from that coin.
db1000 wrote: Why is Dash minimum network send .5Dash? It was .2 just awhile ago.. why is it so high?
The transaction fees for DASH are the highest of any coin. Anything less would result in the entire transaction being lost to fees. This is why I've commented that DASH is very overvalued in its current state; the network is even more unusable than bitcoin.
but half a Dash is like over 6$ us.. how big could the fees possibly be?? i started mining some DASH and now instead of .2 (taking me almost a month to acquire) it gets raised to 2.5 times that.. so now it will take me months to mine the amount to withdrawl on my little miners!!! grrrrrrrrrrr
basically I have wasted a month mining just to have the min network send become 2.5 times what I started to acquire.. this does not make me happy and I am pretty pissed.. i will take alternate sends but it is too late now for me to change the settings and a month of mining has gone to waste basically..
if you can convert my dash accumulated into say dogecoin or some other send I will do that.. but I did not get any email or anything telling me it would become 250 percent higher min network send.. no notification and I don’t get why fees would be that much.. totally kills the idea of "sending money for just a few cents" as stated on their website.. something doesn’t add up
should be my choice to set the minimum send as long as I know what the fee is.. same as the exchange. just saying.. im sure you will come up with reasons to disagree but I do not like wasting 1 month of mining just to find out i can’t withdraw due to you raising minimum 250 percent.. i dunno.. am I wrong here?
Guys do you have any guidance on Batch 3 A4’s? As you’ll see, I’ve been flashing my B1 and B2 cards and turning them into B3’s. They seem to be 100% rock solid through coin switches for many hours so I’ve dropped the voltage and gone back to dynamic vardiff on these miners. Do you have an opinion on that as a course of action?
db1000 wrote: poloniex transaction fee is .05DASH.. so why do I need to accumulate 10 times that just to withdrawal..a minimum amount
The transaction fee we pay on average is about 0.03 DASH, so I changed the minimum transaction amount to be 0.3. We don't charge you 0.3; we only charge the 0.03 the network charges us. We just want to prevent small payouts from going out. Before we had that minimum, we had a number of miners who would lose all their earnings to transaction fees. If you want us to pay your balance with more than 10% lost to transaction fees, I can change the minimum payout amount to whatever you want, but I don’t see the point in mining if you plan to lose so much of your earnings to fees.
It was not my choice.. i picked the coin without knowing how long it would take to make the minimum.. then I said ok I will go for it to collect some of that coin.. then the min went up so and made my decision just get worse.. kinda a failed I know.. but I am trying to get out of mining it now as I see how it can effect earnings.. I just wanted a way out (by hopefully paying an acceptable fee and learning from my mistake)
I stopped shares into that coin so after tomorrow once payout is done from today I can contact you maybe here and you can help me withdraw and i will pay whatever acceptable fee.. then I promise to pay more attention to fees etc.

We don’t have any information on what to do because we don’t have A4s with which to test, but let’s discuss this issue in the "General A4 discussion" thread so that tradewiz can offer his opinion. My view is that the system is designed to optimize a miner, so the fewer arguments you give it, the better. Arguments like g= are hacks that reduce profitability to get around previous A4 bugs.
db1000 wrote: I am pretty sure it does not cost dollars to send a DASH.. lets rethink this and what is the actual minimum send for DASH.. not your minimum..
It actually does cost up to half a dollar to send DASH. I don't know why anyone uses it.
OK the payout for last mining seems to have gone through .. can you set the minimum to 0.17 for me on DASH so I can withdrawl and I wont be mining towards it anymore.. yes 50 cent fee is a bit ridiculous.. sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you.
