I’m over at litcoinpool and it seems there pool sets the difficulty of the A4 at 8,192.00-16384 and 32768 seems it changes between those 3 setings

I see the very high balances showing up on the website and I know exactly what is causing them. I am correcting the underlying issue now.

- i have mining on my A2 Terminator 110m for a year now and suddenly from yesterday its not working, in the sense the machine is switched on but is not mining and below is the error that i get, could you please assist. Thanks in Advance.

Click on any scrypt miner address, then click on "Speed (Accepted)" then scroll to the bottom. You can compare 1 day blocks for the same periods

Chris, I’ve noticed that when I set a static difficulty the restart time trebles? Is there a direct relationship that follows a curve?

I see that the share inserts are delayed right now. It should catch up, and I am monitoring the issue.

It depends on the static difficulty set. If you set the difficulty 3x higher, the work restart time should average the same after 3x longer. The statistic that influences your earning is "work restart penalty," and if that’s 1, the work restart time isn’t important.

My restart penalty says 1 but my live miner says its restart is 2.539. This is with a gridseed blade. Does this mean I get a penalty because I am not under 1?

Being under 1 means there is a penalty because the earnings are multiplied by the work restart penalty. Being at 1 is optimal.

The mining server is going to be briefly restarted to troubleshoot an issue that has been disconnecting static miners and reducing profitability. The restart should only last for five minutes.

There will probably be a second restart tonight after we fix the problem.

The problem was caused by a loose network cable that Chris accidentally jostled while upgrading this forums server.

He resolved the issue and the system should be back to normal.

The forums should also be much faster than before, and we can expect to see increased profits as he brings more daemons over to the faster server.

There is an issue with the earning balances...

What is the issue with earning balances? I do not seen anything obviously wrong.

5hours ago my wbb balance was approx. 1$ Now I have almost 8$. My total earnings says 3.14$ which would make sense...my balance is too high

The profits are increased compared to what we could earn otherwise. Unfortunately, LTC profitability has cratered recently.

LTC difficulty is at a high for 2016, likely due to A4s who perform poorly on multi pools but stable on litecoinpool

I don’t know what the fix might be.. They have given us a few upgrades for A4 but nothing so far that helps

iam happy, that A4 is full of bugs.

Still having problems with solo mining

not getting credit for all solo mined coins (Lycancoin) only got credit for about half the coins in a mining session last night

It was down at that time for approx 1 hour. Then it the site came up again.
