We're pleased to announce a new video covering some PPLNS concepts at Prohashing. While PPLNS mining doesn't provide for the profitability increase that Proswitching mining allows, some mining rigs do well by mining a single coin and receiving the merge-mining PPLNS bonuses. This video teaches about PPLNS mining and how the Prohashing website displays PPLNS statistics.

I'm going out on a limb and guess PPLNS isn't for the little rigs?.... make more videos btw that, definitely helps a nooB lol TYVM

PPLNS isn't for most people. Since you're only mining one coin, it will never approach the profitability of Proswitching, which mines the most profitable coin at all times - even though we charge a higher fee for Proswitching.
Still, there are some people who like PPLNS because they want to try to strike it rich with good luck, or because their miners don't like the work restarts that Proswitching can send.
