Newb Style Question

So I am just your average guy mining on my comp with a 3060ti card making a few bucks a day. I mine mostly ETH on Awesome Miner and Feathercoin on Easyminer. I am not technically savvy so I do what comes easy.

Anyways I was wondering what programs other computer rig miners are using if they use something different? Is there something better out there that is prohash compatible and is easy enough to use for the average person like myself? What do you mine with these programs and is it more or less lucrative?

Don't get me wrong I have no issues just plugging along like I am but I feel like I am missing out on maybe a few bucks here and there or at least a bit more fun! Thanks in advance!

I basicly used the "Getting started" here, setting up Gminer for my 1060/6GB to go after ETH, also using xmrig of Monero to keep the CPU busy. I'd like to get my hands on a GPU like yours ;)

randomx (cpu mining) to mine for monero. I started with supportxmr mining monero then got addicted and bought 10 asics but still have 13 various laptops and desktops mining a few dollars a day of XMR.

I was mining monero on cudominer for a bit but havent been able to get it to work on anything else. I might look back into that because supposedly Monero is pretty profitable when done right :)

I got lucky with my card...I was looking for a comp and found a guy on craigslist selling the comp he bought for his kid way under market value. He could have sold the card for more than he sold me the system for. My buddy built an Alienware comp with dual 2080s and that thing mines like no tomorrow. We looked into getting some ASICs or antminers but we would need more money invested to do that. We got into this on a lark when we jokingly bought Doge at $.06 just to gamble. I have made quite a bit of cash off that original investment already :)
