Prohashing Mining Pool Forums

Well, that's getting into a whole other can of worms. I guess I am just trying to say that the number that your miner reports is the correct number for hashrate. If the prohash number is lower it doesn't necessary mean that you are mining at a lower rate, you might just have had some bad luck. Or you might have been switched around by the pool to different coins a lot recently, or you may not have waited long enough for the average to catch up, or the pool might not have enough shares to guess accurately (High share difficulty). All of those things can affect your reported rate on prohash, meanwhile your miner is happily processing hashes at exactly the same rate that it always was.
