Mining specific coin

Post by galixxx » Sat May 21, 2016 3:11 am

Is there a possibility to mine a specific coin like verge?
Can I use password argument c=verge?

If this is possible does it also make sense? Or shall I just use verge in the earnings section?

You certainly can mine Verge by using c=Verge in your password. However, I have to ask if you want to mine Verge or if you just want to earn Verge. If you only select Verge in the earnings section, you will mine the most profitable coin and get paid in Verge, which will actually earn you more money than mining Verge directly. Mining Verge won't earn you as much money, but it will put all your hashrate to support the Verge network, if that's what you want to do.

Well I guess its back to Nicehash. If pool is unstable there is no wa for me to see what is more profitable. I just put 2 l3+ on there and then 20 min latter dead. So imagine with the more powerful asics coming out. What abt the 15-30 gh/S x-11s'?

I see why that Forefit button is there. To donate so servers and tech can be upgraded. Dont worry abt DDOS just get more hashers and poof your down.
