Prohashing Mining Pool Forums

so i am reading in the optimizing crypto section, that in lieu of setting up a pool for a coin, i should be able to use "c=[coin name] m=solo." how is this possible without a connecting port? lets say, i want to mine ERGO coin in solo, how would that be possible? just curious.

Is this limited to Algo's that are only listed on the site now?

So not all coins that are paid out are minable here. So if you don't see the algo for the coin you want to mine, then it isn't available.
