Solo Mining DGB - Suboptimal Shares

While Solo mining DGB I've noticed that after a while, sub-optimal shares will reach 100%. Displayed on the details & analytics page of my account dashboard. Only happens while solo mining.

Tried changing all miners to default server difficulty, no change.
Set higher/lower diff with no change.
The miners seem to be running fine with very few rejected shares, or anything abnormal occurring.

In fact, I just noticed a substantial increase in sub-optimal shares just a few minutes ago. Went from 30% to 80% sub-optimal rate.

Thanks for any and all support.

Thanks for this report. I determined the cause of the problem.

Because no earnings are credited for any share that does not find a block while solo mining, it is normal that most shares result in no earnings. However, when we wrote the query to determine whether a share is suboptimal or not, we forgot that solo miners exist. That chart needs to be removed from the page when a miner is solo mining, because suboptimal shares do not have meaning for solo miners.

I will create a new task and assign it to Constance to remove solo mining from the chart. For now, no changes to your mining are necessary, and no money is being lost. Thanks for the report!

Hi Steve,

Thank you for taking the time to look into this. I'm glad that there was a simple explanation!
