hi

prohashing advice a fee of 4.99% so far so good.
but when i calculate diffrence between mined and earned, there is an difference >5% ??

for example:
Actual payout proportion 100%
Target payout proportion 100%
Algorithm / mined / earned / target difficulty / submitted difficulty / satus / time
Equihash/ 0.000032450926 ZCashs / 0.000030725565 ZCashs / 1,048,576.0000 / 18,957,944.0375 / Accepted / 08:02:15
about 5.33% difference

Algorithm / mined / earned / target difficulty / submitted difficulty / status / time
Equihash/ 0.000007739812 ZCashs / 0.000007333602 ZCashs / 262,144.0000 / 471,020.4098 / Accepted / 07:49:05
about 5.25% difference

maybe anybody can explain me why?

An other thing i would like to know .Where can i find the used excange rate when i use an other coin for payout? which stock marked was used for?
For example i mine horizon and payout in zcash.

it's just for information for me
thanks

After some research, I think the difference you're seeing is in the spread between the buy price and sell price of the coin. When you elect to be paid in a different coin, some money is lost because the buy price is always higher than the sell price. For very widely traded coins like bitcoins or litecoins, the buy and sell prices are so close that it never made sense to address this issue when someone was mining and earning bitcoins. For ZCash, which is not offered by every exchange, the markets are more shallow and that isn't the case.

I'll have to think about what can be done about this issue, if anything should be done. Because the spread is different for each coin, it's difficult to come up with a one-step solution that only fixes the coins with shallower markets.
