Re: How to use TeamRedMiner with HiveOS while utilizing ProHashing?
Hi, I use TRM with ProHashing on my AMD rig, and have no issues with it - however I am just mining ETH. Since ProHashing does not support TON you would only be able to mine the ETH portion here - technically you could still dual mine, but use two different pools, ProHashing for the ETH and another p...

Re: Why I am leaving ProHashing (at least for now)
Hi Steve, Thanks for taking the time to engage with me. I really do appreciate it. I had no intention of this getting as involved as it is, or going in the direction this post goes, but we are here so here are a couple of responses for you. Hi TechElucidation, This is a great post! Thanks for the co...

Re: Why I am leaving ProHashing (at least for now)
I'm curious to find out: TechElucidation, what would you consider the additional features that Prohashing provides to be worth? Hi Steve, Thanks for your comments, and for seeking additional feedback not just from me, but from the ProHashing community as a whole. I do hope more people take advantag...

Why I am leaving ProHashing (at least for now)
.. but first, why I came to ProHashing. Until recently I had not been very involved with crypto or mining, though through the pandemic I started looking for something to do, and so started my exploration of crypto. I explored many different aspects of the crypto universe, including trading, staking...

Re: Adventures in frame making
So, after the “FirePit” frame (which is still running great) I wanted to make another frame that would hopefully use a little less square footage of my floor space, but still provide good heat dissipation. I also wanted to use wood this time to make things a little simpler to do. I also wanted to tr...

Re: New Alert Suggestion
Thinking about this over breakfast, was thinking of three : Named worker offline - This would be, as mentioned in the original post, for named workers going offline for a configurable amount of time. Named group offline - This would allow us to know if an entire group was offline, like "Grandma...

New Alert Suggestion
Hello, I was looking at ProHashing's Alerts, and would like to make a recommendation to add an alert for a miner that has been down for X minutes. I have been trying to use the alerts to monitor my rigs, but found each of them don't quite hit the mark, when all I really want to know is if one of the...

Re: Chris to release bugfixes for mining servers
Can I suggest that the IP bans be limited to just 1 hour or something? You do them to discourage abuse, and if the abuser is cut off and can't do it again for an hour, they will get bored and stop. Unless they are really determined, but in that case they will just go get another IP anyways, in which...

Re: Possible uses for older GPUs
Yesterday (May 12th) some GPU miners did a test migration moving their rigs off of Ethereum to see how things might change once the Merge happens. I doubt that enough people switched to see anything significant on the networks, but who knows. For me, it was an opportunity/excuse to see what I person...
