Equihash profitability issue resolved

Recently, some customers reported that equihash profitability was 20% lower than expected. We spent about 80 hours researching the issue and weren't able to figure out the cause until Chris discovered a log file that was recording errors for equihash price data. It turns out that, when a mining serv...

Re: Z11 miner settings on Prohashing?

Sounds good, any update? If this won't help you to work out the Z11 bugs since I don't have access to my miner i will just move the miner to a diff pool until you are able to get access to one for a fix. Let me know what you would like to do. Thanks! OK, if you're ready to work on this today, I'll ...

Re: New "Tools" page released

Must say I love the new tools page and profitability calculator! I have been asking for this feature for some time and its great to see it finally! Now my question is is there a way that we can have the option to have it from hashes per sec to where we can just have a dropdown menu option for TH or...

Re: Status as of Sunday, September 15, 2019

any asic stats you gather with q= should be looked at with a wary eye since many people over (and even under) clock their asic boxes. i have 3 L3+ running at three different clock rates, depending where they are located in my home or garage (heat issues.) Hmmm, for those people I guess we'll have t...

Re: Z11 miner settings on Prohashing?

Sure, I can have the support in the data center point my Z11 where ever you want. Would be glad to help. Just let me know what connection settings we need to use and I can send them over to support. I don't have direct access to the miner unfortunately. OK, great. We'll contact you tomorrow about t...

Re: Z11 miner settings on Prohashing?

I setup a Z11 over the weekend and have an issue with it never getting recognized on Prohashing. It shows up in the list, but never figures out the hash rate. Are there specific settings that I need to use to get a Z11 working? We're aware of this problem, but unfortunately nobody has allowed us to...

Status as of Sunday, September 15, 2019

Good morning! Our focus over the past few days was on improving the website and resolving algorithm-specific issues. For an unknown period of time, Equihash was paying about 25% less than the expected value. Several customers had reported this problem since the beginning of August, saying that they ...

Re: Using Prohashing with NiceHash will result in Prohashing confiscating your earnings.

Having a low luck implies that you can manipulate the luck of your share. If you can manipulate it down why not up? This would also imply that the crypto algo being used are flawed, this would be a huge revelation. -So the shares are valid but they're "low luck"? This is not possible unless mining ...

Steve, is the profitability on the calculator our approx nett, after fees? And is it a last 24hr average or what? Thanks again.
The profitability calculator displays what you would have earned if you had been mining here with the selected settings during the previous day.
