Chris to investigate other exchanges

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Wed Sep 20, 2017 8:54 pm

Chris found that there may be other exchanges available that he could implement to improve profitability. In addition to offering coins that are currently only available at Novaexchange, livecoin.net might have better prices and coins not available elsewhere.

Hopefully, Novaexchange will return soon. Otherwise, Chris should be able to get at least one new exchange added by the weekend!

Its not the site, its how they get their pricing and other data.
That part of the site was under attack so Nova had to disable it.

Until nova fixes their end of the issue pools can't do business with them.

Yes livecoin lists BCC. Getting BCC up and running again will go a long way to make Scrypt more profitable, plus provide more pricing options.

Also for BCC, are you able to connect to their own exchange at https://bitconnect.co/user/trade?Market=BCC ? It is the most liquid exchange for BCC (but only trades to BTC) with the largest volume by far per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bi ... t/#markets (although a bit skewed at this time due to Nova being 0%), so should have better pricing and less slippage.

Unfortunately not. Their exchange doesn't have API access; it's Web-based only.

First, we fix the performance issues, and then there are share corrections. Then we fix the share corrections, and then there is solo mining. Now, it's things we can't do anything about, like these exchanges.

It's extremely frustrating how it always seems to be one thing after another. As soon as one issue is resolved, something else happens.

Hearing reports around that Nova API might be coming back up.
That should help the profits all around if true!
