Antminer Z9 mini hashrate and discarded shares

Post by killik80 » Wed Jul 11, 2018 4:56 pm

Hi all,
I have two z9 mini , one is hashing at 16 kilohash stable, the other one Is reporting 14 kilohash on prohashing, miner side, both are reporting 16 kilohash, both are overcloked to 750 mhz.

I'm reporting a lot of my shares as discarded.

miner 1 after 5 hours

Accepted 1,670

Discarded 24,467

miner 2 after 5 hours

Accepted 1,225

Discarded 18,465

Anyone has the same issue.

Can anyone suggest any password argument to fine tune the z9 mini?

Are you setting a static difficulty? I don't have a Z9, but I'd guess you would want to set the static difficulty as high as possible. If it's too low you might get more rejected shares.

thank you for your answer.

can you suggest a static difficulty value?d=?

These are some my accepted shares, the first value is the target and the second the submitted difficulty:

I investigated this issue this morning and found that there is a bug in the mining server. I checked in the changes and they will be available with the next release.

Since this is only a display issue, no money is being lost and you can continue mining. Once the release is issued, you'll see that the hashrates were always as expected.
