Good morning!
  • Yesterday, we released a new version of the mining server that handles ethash nonces better. There are some miners that appear to ignore our nonce and submit shares with their own nonces. Using the miner's nonce results in fewer rejected shares for "Miner has an incorrect algorithm," and these changes have been released.
  • The nonce fix resulted from our investigation into why some ethash blocks are not being submitted to the daemons. As with medical scans, when you look for things, you tend to find them, even if they weren't what you were searching for originally. This investigation may result in additional restarts on Sunday.
  • Constance released some major changes to the website. She discovered a bug, where if the same group name was used by multiple customers, then the charts would display the summed hashrate of all the customers for that group. She also discovered a similar issue with earnings per group. The changes were released last night and some customers who use groups may notice that the grouped data is now more accurate.
  • Chris added 50 new markets and several new coins for mining and payout. Piratechain is also available for mining and payout, and Komodocoin has returned now that its wallet has unlocked.
  • Constance spent a significant amount of time on improving the speed of the website. She was able to raise the Google PageSpeed rank for the homepage from 55 to 71 on desktop. She will work on the site's other pages over the next week.
We will be holding a big meeting on July 3 and 4 to discuss the next steps for the system. During that meeting, we are expecting to discuss an affiliate marketing program, new algorithms, and any remaining bugs from previous development. If you have a suggestion that you think should be discussed at the meeting, feel free to reply!
