Yep, Jeff is correct, this was not a fork and didn't effect the algo's. Zcash is agnostic about the whole miner thing - I don't think they give a rats ass about miners is the truth. How overwinter helps zcash is beyond me.

Any luck resolving the ZCash issue?

I figured out that they changed the transaction format for ZCash. The changes are so complex that I was not going to be able to figure them out in one day.

I'm going to spend a good portion of the day today working on these changes. I think they may be too difficult to get done in one or two days, so we hope to have more news later in the week.

Sounds like a plan - let's hope for a solution by end of the week. :)

As to the other issues described in this post, Chris released a new version of the mining server that finally resolves the problem of some coins entering and never leaving error after a failure to obtain the next block occurs.

Today, I will be working on the ZCash problem. Also, I'll be working on a fix so that when the anchor coin, like ZCash, dash, litecoin, or bitcoin goes into error, the system will failover to another coin rather than cause some miners to fail to submit work.
