Forum rules
The Development forum is for discussion of development releases of Prohashing and for feedback on the site, requests for features, etc.

While we can't promise we will be able to implement every feature request, we will give them each due consideration and do our best with the resources and staffing we have available.

Greetings! A brief update this morning:
  • There were three phases of the release that is occurring now. First was the website. The "earnings" page now has two new charts that reveal information about workers. They only function if you have specified a name for your workers, though, so use the n= password parameter. This part was verified and closed last night.
  • The second phase was the mining server, which includes an algorithm change that better approximates block times. A customer reported earlier today that he was seeing more switches than normal, so I temporarily disabled the new timing until we can investigate how, if at all, the newest release is involved in that issue.
  • The third phase is the special coins, like NXT, Monero, and Ethereum, which are being held until Friday night because of a Toastmasters speech contest tomorrow. Chris needs to be up at night to certify that the first payouts in these new coins work, but he doesn't want to sacrifice his performance in the chance that they do not work in production and need to be debugged.
This release should be fully deployed by Saturday. There may be service interruptions over the next two days as we complete the rollout. Given the complexity of the system, there are almost certain to be bugs that we could not test in development, so please reply here with anything that affects you.
