Good morning! Here's a brief update.
- Chris got the number of outstanding tickets down from the 75 there were on Friday to 17 now. These tickets are extremely complex issues, and most other tickets are resolved quickly. We appreciate your patience while Chris resolves the remaining tickets.
- Yesterday's release caused a temporary setback where some customers were accidentally banned due to rejected shares. We corrected the problem an hour later.
- The release was successful at making the worker count more accurate, at making sure that unauthenticated workers cannot mine, and at providing better error messages to customers.
- The "messages" feature released last week is being used for the first time now. This is one of the group of features we've been adding whose purpose is to make it easier for customers to understand what is happening and perform self-diagnostics without having to wait for support tickets. The first messages provide notice to customers about 1099 form completion, and about discontinued coins. Discontinued coins will now display a message stating that the coin has been discontinued and that payouts will occur in the future if the exchanges unlock their wallets.
