Discussion of development releases of Prohashing / Requests for features
Forum rules
The Development forum is for discussion of development releases of Prohashing and for feedback on the site, requests for features, etc.

While we can't promise we will be able to implement every feature request, we will give them each due consideration and do our best with the resources and staffing we have available.

Good afternoon! He's an overview of where we stand today.
  • With our equipment, x11 mining has no known bugs. However, when we use excelerator's miners, his miners disconnect immediately after receiving the first work restart. I hope that this issue isn't a repeat of the problems we had with Titan miners being unable to receive difficulty 1 shares for scrypt work restart testing a while back. Because excelerator's miners don't provide debug logs, we can only guess at what the problem is, and since we can't reproduce it using our GPUs, we can't get more information ourselves. Hopefully, we'll be able to do some more testing on this when we investigate it next Sunday.
  • Profitability has almost doubled over the past week, owing to the surge in altcoin prices. I think that we are on the verge of another huge altcoin bubble, like the LTC bubble a year ago or the big bubble of December 2013 where scrypt miners were raking in millions per day. Hopefully, people are noticing the astonishing rise in profitability and taking advantage of this while it lasts.
  • When x11 mining is released, miners will also see a number of other features that have been added. For example, we added some long-requested chart features, and now all of the API data has instant updates. These features were not added to the scrypt-only branch because the scrypt pool is in maintenance mode and only critical bugfixes are being pushed to it right now.

If anyone with a Baikal Mini, Quad or Giant knows the filenames and directory locations for the logfiles, please post!

Yeah, people are dumping their BTC into these like top 3-4 altcoins ... Im guessing to wait until the whole btc fork rides over. Once that subsides the altcoin prices will come crashing down again.
Also, wasnt aware of the pools x11 plan =) thats neat. Maybe Ill buy an x11 asic, if I can justify its cost rofl! They use little power.
