Forum rules
The Development forum is for discussion of development releases of Prohashing and for feedback on the site, requests for features, etc.

While we can't promise we will be able to implement every feature request, we will give them each due consideration and do our best with the resources and staffing we have available.

Good afternoon! Here's a status update for today.
  • It seems that profitability has been high recently due to an altcoin price surge. Two days ago, we were 70% over LTC, and yesterday, it was almost 30%. Let's hope the good luck keeps up.
  • The last status update was lost because of the forum server database issue, and we apologize for that. We were never able to figure out why the database disappeared, but we took some guesses and made the backups execute daily. This issue would not have happened to the mining server, because it is already backed up in real time.
  • X11 mining has finished development and entered testing. We expect two weeks of local testing before we start the test site rollout.
  • Chris's installation of the 960 PRO solid state disks into the production servers went well. He determined that they can read data across the RAID 1 array at 1.7GB (bytes, not bites) per second. With random reads, they are even more impressive - 700MBps, or 70x faster than a hard drive. After the test site is taken offline, these will be permanently used as an upgrade to our existing equipment.
