Anyone have any experience with Celcius?

Post by dra2120 » Mon Feb 25, 2019 9:40 am

I've been looking into storing some of my coins there. I don't like the idea of leaving my coins on an "exchange" type website, but I do really like the idea of earning interest on my crypto. I know, that anything I put there is at risk, and it's my fault if I lose anything, but I just wondered if anyone has anything there and if they are happy using Celcius?

I have used them. They pay interest every Monday. I had to withdraw my coins because they stopped operating in WA. I can say it takes forever to do a change of residence and change your withdrawal address but they do pay interest and they do allow withdrawals.

And what about the Security? Is it safe to store funds there?

Personally, I steer clear of any CLUBS or special places, especially when they only have 1 or 2 coin pairs or haven't been in business for over a year and listed on other exchange site listings and such.

The best exchange in the world could open tomorrow...I'll wait a year and see if it's still around before I'd be using it. NOW is the time for these startups to get up and going and build up a reputation. In another 2 years when the bubble starts to inflate again, they will be scrambling to start up, but no one will trust them when there are 100 new startup exchanges per month.
