Hashrate problem

Post by Some1notu » Mon Oct 26, 2015 1:40 am

First off let me say I like the pool and love that the owners are open and communicative. It is a breath of fresh air.

I'm not sure if this info will be helpful, but thought I'd give it a shot.

Mining with 6 miners(all Zeus): Lightning X6, two Thunder x6, two Cyclone, Hurricane X6

I've tested mining and get these average hashrates: (same settings)
Prohashing= 100-110Mh/s
Nicehash/WestHash= 125-145 Mh/s
TheMultipool= 110-145 Mh/s <--------seems to switch coins too often so rate is all over the map
Multipool.us= 125-150 Mh/s
IPOminer= 125-145 Mh/s

Some simple math quickly shows that Prohashing has to be considerably higher in profitability of coins mined to match the "coins in my wallet" of other pools. I realize this problem is being looked into and don't really think it is a front-end display issue.

My question, and purpose of this wall-o-text is..........Is this accepted hash rate problem happening to all miners, or just Zeus?

Hi. We recently became aware of the lower hashrate by reports from other users. This issue is not just affecting you or even just Zeusminers; it affects all miners.

This lower hashrate is our highest priority bug right now and we are investigating what is the underlying cause. Once we find it will make changes to make our hashrate closer to other pools. See http://forums.prohashing.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=638 and http://forums.prohashing.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=626

Thanks for your patience while we fix the problem.
