Binance coin native chain?

Post by bitcryptic-gw » Thu May 02, 2019 8:55 pm

Just wondering if there is a plan to swap Binance payout options, so their native blockchain version can be used instead of the ERC20 based BNB tokens? Or maybe add the new one so there's a choice?

Unfortunately, the other chain is very complex to implement. We don't have enough manpower to implement that chain in parallel with the other top-20 coins that are already being implemented first, like EOS and Tron.

For now, we'll keep paying out in the ERC20 token contract. You can receive tokens on the Binance chain by entering a receive address at Binance, and then withdrawing your tokens from Binance. Binance will automatically convert the coins when they get sent to their exchange.

If all exchanges stop accepting the ERC20 tokens before we have the Binance chain ready, we'll temporarily disable Binance coin payouts until Vance is able to implement the new chain.
