credited for random coins

Post by dnprod » Sun May 13, 2018 7:43 pm

weird.
i got credited for a dusty amount of Digibyte and Doge when
a) i havent selected them as a payout coins in ages
b) i wasnt even hashing/mining at the timestamp of its recent crediting.

seems to have happened around 19:14 EDT

also weird is that they are already payout 'eligible' before midnight has rolled over.

There is a thread about this issue in the "News" forum where full details are available.

In your case, it appears that we discovered you were underpaid due to a bug that has been incorrectly recording transaction fees for 4 years. You were given free money because the recorded fees were higher than what it actually cost to send money on the networks.

heh, thanks :)
i just noticed a "page 2" on my balances.
several more coins i collected in the past have dusty balances, but,
weirdness again, three of them have negative dusty balances.
