I am confused on what are you trying to do moose...

If you have ASICs, like D3 ..... prohashing.com:3333, your username, and "a=x11 g=off h=1000" in the password field should get you started right away.

If you are pointing your D3 to Nicehash instead.... then "x --scan-time=1 --queue=0 --expiry=1" in the password field should be OK too.

or maybe.... Are you renting NH service to mine at PH?

Hi Guys,

Yes, I am just trying to figure out how NH works for scrypt mining.

When I fill in the parameters:

Pool: prohashing.com
Port: 3333
Username: ABC1
Password: d=65536 g=off h=1000

it disconnects saying "difficulty to low". But keep in mind, I can set d=200000 at it will say that.... so its not "d" inherently.

have you tried just "g=off h=1000" or "g=off"

for difficulty just omit it and let the stratum servers handle it

i used to use a=scrypt h=1000 d=131072 g=off on NH but i`m not sure if this is still correct.

Be carefull, if PH has a problem, so do you...you will lose money, one way or the other.
(almost) daily problems on PH made me stop (it costs me to much time and money) but you can surely give it a try!
