Help | Prohashing wrote: If you choose a custom payout threshold higher than the default payout threshold, payouts will be forced to occur once the mature balance exceeds the equivalent of $5.00, regardless of the custom payout threshold (excluding Bitcoin).

Oh, ok so actually the "custom threshold" is kinda useless no ? It will transfer each time it reachs 5$ anyway except for BTC ?

So, in fact payouts are "custom" between $1 and $5, but still it is handy sometimes to save and delay a payout for a day or two. The reason? I remember Steve once mentioned in a post: "We are not a bank!" For BTC treshold is $250, for BCH $50 and for ETH $2.

Ok, now it is clear, and the plus is, you don't risk to lose anything if it's on MY secured wallet I see ;)

Thanks !

The owners once gave the reasoning if they aren't hording as much money on the site, it becomes less of a target than other more liquid sites to be hacked. Sort of like the safety deposit box at 7-11 where they only have $20 in the cash register at night time.

Great idea and way of thinking, I hope this pool lives long ! I saw that there is a lawyer issue, what is the actual problem, are they gonna have to stop this good work ?

They are consulting if it is legally advisable for them to expand.
