Did you not read his whole thing? What is "not fair"? They don't make a profit, or if they do, they don't make as much of a profit. Meaning, even if they do continue this, even though it's discouraged, it won't benefit them over other people, in fact, it'll put them at a disadvantage. What about that is "not fair" to anyone else?

it only applies when the share diff is lowered by the network, many coins that end up in the top 10 dont end up with a big diff drop, as someone who spent many hours looking at that live status list.. there's profit still in hitting top coins
