he means stale shares/shares not counting properly or something similar.. and the brothers that run this pool always take care of 99% of the errors.
most likely we will be refunded etc
Thanks for that reply. Just got started today and was a bit surprised about the earnings too, to say the least ;)

Do you look up the different numbers of diffs somewhere, or is it pure trial and error?

Support got back to me:

Hi,

I apologize for the issue. From September 28 at 7PM (ET) to September 29 at 5PM (ET), the mining server experienced a bug and was crediting people less than they deserved for high difficulty shares. We have fixed the bug, and I just increased user balances for those two days proportionately to how they were affected. As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any other problems.

Sincerely,

Ok I have a question. Current miners are running at d=131072

Miners

molitar.1 ~463.52 MH/s
molitar.2 ~480.78 MH/s
molitar.3 ~581.33 MH/s
molitar.4 ~508.40 MH/s

3 and 4 are consistantly higher than either 1 and 2. Does this mean my d value would be incorrect for 1 and 2 and if so any suggestions which direction?

Efficiency 93.33% but only running about an hour so far so waiting to see if that goes up anymore.

TRY bringing 1 and 2 lower see what that does what type of miners are they l3+'s if so not all units run at the same speed no matter which pool you on but like I said bring down d= on 1 and 2 see what that does.

Ok is there best practice for how much to bring it down? like 1/8th, 1/4th, etcetera?

Second approximately how much should I make with 4 of these miners daily currently?
