Password n argument not working on L3+

Post by briggsr » Wed Sep 06, 2017 6:18 am

Hi,

When inputting the password argument into my L3+ password field, I always get a random string as the worker name in the Earnings page.

I have ensured that I only input numbers, letters and underscore.

My argument looks like this: "n=worker_1" and I have input it into the field with and without the quotes. I have only ever seen the random string.

I have also rebooted the miner with no luck.

Please help??

Do difficulty strings take effect if you try them? d=131072 <-- for example

Feedback:

After adding the static difficulty the worker name showed up.

After that I removed the static difficulty and changed to the names I had previously and the worker name changed every time to what I had set it.

It seems the static request kick started it.

Thanks for the help.
