Live worker status page showing no miners connected while miner status shows connected to pool by 100% discarded shares.

Yes and all my shares are being rejected, the pool should disconnect the miner so we are not loosing income, my advice is to use an alternative pool like I did

Yeah. I moved right after I posted this. This used to be a good pool until code changes started back last year. No longer dependable.

If the pool is accepting shares, then they will be counted, but it may take a few minutes to write them to the database and credit your account if the share writing is delayed as shown on the homepage. In addition, if the pool's shares are delayed, then the live worker stats will also be delayed, in which case there would be the same delay between when you connect the miner and when it shows up in the stats. We are working to increase capacity, but for now there will be times where shares will be delayed. All earnings will be counted though.
